No auto-lock option
My phone locks after 5 mins, which makes the app useless.
Very Nice Alarm Clock
I got this to see how my ipod touch would work for a travel alarm. I have lost a lot of my hearing and the travel alarms that you can buy beep at a level outside of my hearing. This one has a number of different alarm sounds that I can hear easily.
You can set multiple alarms for one time only or repeat and also the snooze function can be set for different times. It makes a great night clock and has date, time and temp. You can swipe your finger across the screen to dim the light if you want which is a nice feature as it is quite bright.
Before I go to sleep I just start the program, set the alarm and put the ipod to sleep. It needs to be running in order to work and one of the few that will work when the ipod is asleep. If you want to leave the light on so you can see the time, you can dim it down a little it will last all night on a good battery charge.
After using this for a week on a trip as a travel alarm I came home and bought the paid version so I can wake up to my own music in the morning instead of the beeping. Makes waking up a much nicer experience. It is my only alarm clock now.
