Thanks for the thoughtful, detailed review, and for laying out clearly what worked and what didn't. You're right that DigiDecoder is built first as a decoder. Autodetecting and decoding as many digital modes as possible is exactly where I wanted it to shine, so I'm glad that came through. On the waterfall: it's a core feature and works here in my testing, so if it's blank for you I'd genuinely like to find out why. It needs an active audio input (and microphone permission) to draw, and on the Encode tab it's hidden by design while you transmit. If it stays empty during normal listening, contact me over email and I'll help you track it down, or fix it if it turns out to be a bug. On CAT control and logging: those are intentionally outside DigiDecoder's scope, but they're exactly the focus of my other app, ShackPilot. It adds CAT/rig control, built-in logging, and even remote control of your station from an iPhone or iPad. If that's the kind of integration you were after, you're very welcome to give it a try. Apple's generic "In-App Purchase" label can read like a typical freemium app, so I understand the confusion. Back when you tried it, the free trial ended and then asked for a purchase, and hitting that paywall understandably felt like a surprise. That's on me, and I've since changed exactly that: the 7-day free trial is now built in up front, so there's no paywall after it. When the trial ends you can keep going with a low monthly plan, or pay once, not much more, for lifetime access. Nothing is charged during the trial and you can cancel anytime.
