Performance
I have to say this is a hidden gem nice little App I’ve been using quite a while. 🇺🇸
Love the app but is there joint bases with the army and the Air Force
I’m going to Fort Eustis in Virginia and didn’t see it on there was just curious about it?
Lack of Air Force Exchanges
They advertise in the Exchanges to use the app but the app doesn’t list Air Force Exchanges.
Must have
It works must have
Great app but…
Today I got on the app and found out that the temperature wasn’t on it anymore… I wish you could put it back on…
Just Google it
Either none of the phone numbers are up to date or no one answers, both reasonable options. I rarely find the facility I’m looking for. The gate information is up to date, but once you memorize that, the app is basically useless. It has all of the potential, and none of the effort.

Thank you for your feedback. Can you please share the installation details where you see inaccurate information via CEDGSupport@aafes.com? We will inform the installation contact for resolution.
No online shopping through the app.
The app use to be good, but they shelled the App. I had to login through the website to do online shopping. I ended locking myself out of the account. I didn't have to remember a password on the app. Oh well, I am sure they will fix the app soon and I will change my rating. Until then, I will be locked out of my account.

ShopMyExchange Removed
Pretty useless now that shopmyexchange has been removed from the app after this latest update.
A hidden gem
This app has done enough to guarantee that the needs of soldiers and their families are met that many projects such as the CARES apps are moot. Any effort to improve another system would duplicate the solved technical debt of digital garrison. I hope to see more excellence as I explore further.

Thank you for your 5-Star Review!
Horrible App.
Have to exit at every page selection, it’s a never ending ‘processing’.
Update??
The app just circles the drain upon selection of any item in the marketplace. Please fix the issue ASAP
Useful tool!
Really enjoy the Digital Garrison app! It tells you important information about the military post you set it to such as Gate operation hours and also PX with other military resources and phone numbers! Thank you!

Thank you for your 5-star review!
DG is the bomb
Nuff said
resourceful app
Definitely worth the download
I love it
This app is definitely great and very easy to use
Works just ok.
Not all features work correctly, search has major issues as data is not cross linked. Not all of the categories work such as the link to the Home Depot store, just freezes. Really have to drill down on some searches.
Inadequate Information and Commercialized Content – at Fort Campbell
As a tool designed to streamline access to vital information for soldiers and their families, the Digital Garrison app at Fort Campbell unfortunately misses the mark. The app, which promises an efficient way to navigate life on the base, falls short in delivering accurate and useful content.
Firstly, the information provided often appears outdated or incorrect. This is a significant concern as it directly impacts the daily lives of soldiers who rely on the app for crucial updates about Fort Campbell. Whether it’s about facility timings, on-base events, or critical notifications, the app’s reliability is questionable.
Moreover, the app seems to be heavily commercialized. A substantial portion of the interface is dedicated to advertisements and promotions for AFFES (Army & Air Force Exchange Service), giving an impression that the primary goal is to drive sales rather than genuinely assist military personnel. While AFFES is an integral part of life on military installations, the overt focus on marketing over meaningful content is disheartening.
This approach not only detracts from the app’s utility but also raises concerns about prioritizing profit over the well-being of soldiers. The expectation would be a balanced platform offering essential services, information, and some level of commercial content. However, the current state of the app feels more like a digital billboard than a supportive tool for those serving at Fort Campbell.
In conclusion, the Digital Garrison app has the potential to be a valuable resource for the Fort Campbell community. However, its effectiveness is hampered by inaccurate information and an overwhelming focus on commercial interests. It’s imperative for the developers to address these issues to ensure that the app truly serves the needs of our soldiers and their families, rather than being a vehicle for profit.

Poor Design or Firmware?
Have attempted to use this app twice and both times there are many errors and unable to create a account. And unable to use as guest as first click on any features requires you have to login? Get it done!
Easy and useful
When ever I’m at a different base either with a PCS or visit, easy to change location and retrieve information easily.
Garrison in your pocket!
The Application is a great resource tool and user friendly. Adding a “Road Conditions” status would aid leaders in mitigating risk prior to movement. Thank you.
