About

Digital Library is a digital twin of the physical books you own. Create a library with a name and a password. There is no email and no profile. You are shown a recovery code once: that is the only way back in if the password is forgotten. Add books the way you are standing at the shelf: • Scan the barcode on the back. The camera stays open so you can work along a row. • Photograph a front cover when there is no barcode. Title and author are read off the jacket. • Photograph a short stack or a shelf, then keep the books you recognise. • Type an ISBN, search by title, or fill in every field by hand. Each book keeps a cover, title, authors, publisher, year, language, page count, ISBN, format, and the country whose literature it belongs to. Mark it unread, reading, read, or set aside, the page you are on, and the month you finished it. Search the shelf, filter by status, sort it, and add your own categories next to the shared ones. Statistics are the point of the product: • Your shelf: how much of it you have read, by book and by page, broken down by author, publisher, category, language, and format. • Months: the books and pages you finished in each month, year by year. • World: a globe of the literatures on your shelf. Turn it, tap a country, and see its books. • Compared: your last twelve months against published European reading figures for your country and age band. There are no streaks, badges, or reading goals. Built with the native iOS design, Liquid Glass included. On iPad the shelf, a book, and the statistics sit side by side under a sidebar. Also included: • A read-only link to the shelf, with no public directory of libraries. • A Goodreads CSV import from Settings. • The same library on the website at digital-lib.com. Nothing is saved until you have reviewed it. AI guesses, most often a page count or a book's country, are marked until you confirm them, and every field stays editable. Photographs identify books and are not kept. Cover art comes from public bibliographic sources. Share, import, and comparison stay off until you turn them on.
