No Slideshow without subscription
Waste of time. Downloaded it then deleted after 5 minutes. Slideshow function not available without paying annual recurring subscription. This is not mentioned in the app info in the App Store. Thanks but no thanks. Trying being upfront and transparent about what customers will be charged to use this app.

Best photo frame app: reliable, beautifully polished, privacy-conscious and exceptional with video
I've tested nearly every digital photo frame app available, and this one is by far the best. It's thoughtfully designed, exceptionally well implemented, and-surprisingly rare in this category-its features actually work reliably. Even Apple's Photos slideshow can crash on my iPad after running for several hours with a large collection of photos and videos, while this app handles the job far more dependably.
Video support is one of its biggest strengths. Most competing apps don't play videos at all, and many that do are buggy or laggy. Here, videos make the slideshow dramatically more engaging, vivid and immersive.
The overall level of polish is far beyond nearly every alternative I've tried. It's clear the developer understands how people actually use a digital photo frame and has carefully included the features that matter most.
Privacy is another major advantage. You can start slideshows directly from your existing is photo albums, with no need to upload personal memories to another company's cloud. If you prefer cloud storage, integrations with popular services are available as well. It's an outstanding app and an easy

Truly the best for photos!
I researched in the internet best app to use an old ipad, browsed many photo apps, and I am so thankful that I saw this one! We downloaded it for the free 7 days and it has given my family of 5 so many moments of relieving memories and laughter, so we went ahead and got the lifetime subscription. Thank you Manuel!!!

Awesome Photo Frame App
Found this app a few years ago when I was searching for a Photo Frame app and slideshow App that worked well and did not have a lot of limitations. Tested a bunch of apps and this was the best. It had a lot of features but what is even better is that the developer (Manuel) continues to do new development on the app adding both new features and sometimes tweaking existing features to make them even better. Manuel encourages and listens to user feedback and suggestions making some tweaks when he feels it is warranted to improve the user experience. His Customer Support is stellar. Very quick and detailed responses. I am thankful for this app. It has saved me tons of time. It is easy to use and offers tremendous results. I have suggested the app to many friends who were having trouble making slideshows with other apps and they have all been extremely pleased with the ease of use and the results. If you are looking for a great Photo Frame/Slideshow program check out the trial of this app. You wonβt be disappointed. Great job Manuel π.

Excellent app
Tried a few apps but this stands out from the crowd. Brilliant well thought through interface, useful updates being released regularly and full of unexpected user configurable features. Photos look amazing on an iPad, and being able to display the photo information (which is already embedded within the photo file) such as data and location - and even decide the size and font of this display - is the icing on the cake. Well done to the developer - it really shows that you care about your product and continue to put time and effort into developing it. So donβt waste time trying any more apps - this is the one you want to display your photo memories in the best possible way.

All I wanted was to automatically display images in a directory and not have to import into Apply Photos.. :(

Simple, clean implementation
Good slide show app thatβs easy to set up and has all the options I was looking for. Vary speed, how to fit images to the screen, borders, etc.

I just set up an old iPad as a digital photo frame in our living room using #DigitalPhotoFrameApp - This app is perfect and works so much better than a conventional digital photo frame. The picture quality is outstanding!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

All my photos are blurry
Perfect on Apple TV
I sometimes like to have a random shuffle of my photos on TV when I have friends or family over. It brings back great memories. Appleβs Photos app has this feature, but the shuffle starts to repeat after 100 photos or so. This app does a true shuffle that doesnβt repeat. It also optionally displays the Title, Location, and Date, which is great when you have decades of photos. (Iβve set location and date for all of my photos, including scanned ones). The app has dozens of settings providing lots of control over how the photos are displayed, and the developer was very responsive when I had a question about one of the settings.

I could not get the app to recognize photos nested in folders (on a network connection)
