A Perfect Digital Photo Frame App!
I absolutely love this app! It has completely transformed the way I enjoy my photo collection. Instead of leaving pictures buried in the Photos app, I now get to see my favorite memories displayed beautifully like a digital photo frame right on my iPad and iPhone.

Simple, clean implementation
Good slide show app that’s easy to set up and has all the options I was looking for. Vary speed, how to fit images to the screen, borders, etc.

I just set up an old iPad as a digital photo frame in our living room using #DigitalPhotoFrameApp - This app is perfect and works so much better than a conventional digital photo frame. The picture quality is outstanding!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Perfect on Apple TV
I sometimes like to have a random shuffle of my photos on TV when I have friends or family over. It brings back great memories. Apple’s Photos app has this feature, but the shuffle starts to repeat after 100 photos or so. This app does a true shuffle that doesn’t repeat. It also optionally displays the Title, Location, and Date, which is great when you have decades of photos. (I’ve set location and date for all of my photos, including scanned ones). The app has dozens of settings providing lots of control over how the photos are displayed, and the developer was very responsive when I had a question about one of the settings.

This app is lovely!
I especially enjoyed using it on my iPad, but it was fantastic on my Apple TV too! It’s clean, simple, and super easy to use. Plus, it’s a universal app that works on all Apple devices, and it supports family sharing. The developer is also very responsive, which is a real bonus!

Great app for Apple TV
I have been looking for this app forever. Yes, you can use YouTube or some other Apple TV apps, but it is hard to put your own pictures in those apps. This solves this issue. This app works on my iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, which is exactly what I want. To put my pictures as artwork on my tv when we are not watching it. The app gives me a lot of versatility. There is only one thing I can do on my iPhone and iPad that I wish the TV app also included and that is to use my Apple Music library to play music while my photos are on Apple TV. This would make the app a 10 in my book. I purchased the lifetime membership! Absolutely worth it!

Nice app, but I bought it on my laptop and then when I installed it in my iPhone they wanted to charge me again!!!! How on earth do you delete a slideshow??????
If only I could use it
The problem is I’m a senior citizen idiot. I downloaded the app. So far so good. I plugged it in. That’s when things went downhill. The frame didn’t connect with our network and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. Is there any help for me or do I have to go crawling to my kids again? Thank you.

Best for Apple Photos!
Family and friends love this app. I re-purposed an old iPad that was collecting dust in an office closet and followed Manuel’s instructions on how to prepare a digital slideshow. I simply mark photos on my Apple device (you only have to mark a photo as a favorite on an iMac, iPad or iPhone) and played the Favorites slideshow from the old iPad using the Digital Photo Frame Slideshow app. Easy peasy! When I restart the app any newly marked favorite photos automatically get included in the slideshow. I catch my wife, myself, family and friends stopping to view the wonderful memories! Thank you for this wonderful treasure.

Bring life to an old iPad
My iPad mini is now redundant as it isn’t supported by new updates, this app has given it a new lease of life and it seems to be the best option out there.
I’d like to have more control over the time and date, I want to be able to separate them and move them independently of each other.
It would be cool to have integration with the calendar so you can see upcoming reminders and calendar entries.
It would be nice to have a little more control over the design of these items and where they sit. Great work on the app and thanks for allowing older iPads to download this.
Other than these minor details the app works great and I love it.

This is the best app for digital slide shows
Update! Digital Photo Frame Slideshow keeps getting better and better all the time. Organizing is easy and access is simple. I absolutely love how easy this app is to use. An actual digital frame is complex compared to using this app. You can cast your creation to a large screen tv and save hundreds of dollars on digital frames. The possibilities are endless. I am starting to create slide shows combining both short videos and still shots. Since I started using it, the ability to easily add, delete and reorder images right in the app has been addded. I will continue to update new and improved features as they are added.

I searched for ages to find something that would enable me to shuffle photos to watch on tv. I’ve used this for ages - it is perfect for me.

This is a wonderful app that looks beautiful on my iPad Pro. Lots of options and controls for the slideshow. However, newly created albums on my iPad are not recognized by the app. Only pre-existing albums are viewable. If that issue were resolved this would definitely be a 5 star app!
Love the app
My mom has had the skylight frame but I watched her struggle and waste time sending pics to it so I researched other options and found this. She loves it and my sisters and I have a shared stream that goes directly to her iPad. She absolutely loves it.
Yearly subscription???? Crazy
I don’t understand why anyone in their right mind would pay 30 dollars every year for this app. Not saying it a bad app but you can buy a photo frame for as low as 40 dollars with very robust customization in addition to other people being able to sync their photos to your frame remotely if you allow sharing and the software is free with frame for life. Sooooo help me understand this yearly subscription thingy????? Not for me. I would gladly pay a one time fee but everyone is getting greedy and feel everything should be subscription. Soon we may have to have a subscription just to visit the App Store. NOPE
