Not good with moderations

I can’t even enjoy the app I regret even paying for a subscription knowing it would flag every character no matter if it’s just a chat and not personal or inappropriate and I might cancel my subscription if I can’t even play it because of the ai moderation system not worth 14 dollars a month

Your bots/ ai are dumb, they’re not even artificial intelligence, more like not reading user’s chats and say something that’s entirely unrelated or off track

Things that should be done.

I think that this app is very good but at the same time you can’t put some spice to it . It only lets you be professional but it shouldn’t be like this chat ai should be where you can feel love and express your feelings but when you try to it tells you that this message can’t be done since it’s not professional. You should put some mind into it

This app is incredibly underrated.

The bots, the creation, the bot’s personalities are all unique, realistic and amazing. Not to mention the fact they allow things like non-humans like furries and it still plays out well.

Anyone complaining about “limits” is just spoiled and expect to be given things for free, because while there are limits, they are very minimal, there’s even a lack of ads for how much they let you chat. Overall this app is definitely a step up and I hope they continue like this!

Question for Developer!

This is a great app! I love it! But I’m new to this whole ai thing and most of the apps I’ve used have an unfortunate chat limit. And I was wondering does this app have a chat limit??

This app would be a five without limited chats, please remove them. Just add ads if it’s too expensive to up keep. One of your main advantages is being a better chai alternative, but with limited chats you loose that advantage, please listen to this and not ignore like chai or character ai, I have a lot of faith in this app!

Horrible filter

the new filter tags everything and makes the app almost unusable, you can roleplay quite literally any scenario and you'll get filtered at least once 💔

Pros and cons about DigitalSoul

I personally liked when DigitalSoul was a website but perhaps it is because of the pros hat was in it, I think DigitalSoul is a good AI chat box, especially because you can do 18+ scenes and it’s rather simple to make your own AI bot. However, I think the biggest problem is the limited amount of text. It is rather annoying if you have a long description or text. I believe that if that single problem was fixed to have unlimited text or at least more, this would definitely be one of the top AI chat bots.

Disappointed

The original website version was ten times better than this new app release, this app limits free users to only 120 texts a day. While the original version had no limits. It feels like a huge downgrade and a slap in the face to the users who have been supporting this project since day one. In my honest opinion this no longer compares to the bigger and better ai chat apps, as it turned into just another lame copy.

Hi there! thanks for the feedback. To keep DigitalSoul running as a small team, we've introduced message limits for free users. We don't have investors or VC backing; every server bill comes out of pocket, and subscriber revenue goes straight back into the platform. We don’t make any money off of DigitalSoul. We worked hard to make the limits feel fair, and so you should get at least an hour of comfortable chatting per day, which is more generous than what most competitors offer. Also worth mentioning: we run our own custom models, not repackaged versions of existing ones. Building something genuinely different takes real resources, and that's not something that can be said about most apps in this space. If this helped clear things up, we'd really appreciate it if you'd consider updating your review, as it goes a long way for a small team like ours. fun but a bit flawed

I think personas shouldn't be a premium feature imo . Most apps let you have personas for free so im a little conflicted about having to pay just to describe your OC

A Toggle?

I personally like this app, but I seen the restriction, can you make it so we can toggle on suicidal topics or stuff? So your users have a choice To role play what they want! Like something in settings where you can toggle “sensitive topics” or something, if you can’t do that I understand but I would appreciate it if you did

Amazing app

The responses are surprisingly creative and the memory is really solid, easily my favourite ai chat app

Well worth the wait!!

Made the switch from the desktop site to the app and it's been even more than I expected. The memory is good, the UX is intuitive, and the voices sound pretty lifelike. Only problem was some trouble creating a character but apparently that's already been fixed in an update. Also I wish they had light mode.
