For many years, this is one of the first apps I install on every new device.
Best calculator
I’ve had this app so long now I don’t even know if it is even for sale anymore (it shows up on my store cause I already own it). But it’s been working perfectly since I got it however long ago and having a tape to show what I put in makes it so much more useful then any other calculator. It’s simple enough to use as a simple calculator if you need but still more functionality then a simple one would give you. This is the calculator I still go to whenever I need a calculator (even when I’m on other devices I take out my iPhone to use this one).
If it ever stops working on new os’s I’d pay again to get one that worked on new os’s. It’s worth it and I already well got my money’s worth.

Add on features paid but not showing in app while using
I’ve paid for the add on features but there is no way to select different options like image, text other than PDF form. And there is no response on Shop Upgrades.
This is a life saver.

I use this app regularly.
Being able to create separate tapes is great when adding a split transaction to my Personal Finance app and I need to go through my receipts and categorise my spending.
Initially I found it difficult to understand the functionality, so the user needs to read through the instructions.
All in all though I would not like to be without this app.

Tapes, tapes..
Love this calculator. I love that I can SAVE TAPES for my different calculations.. How awesome is that?💕
best tape calculator out there!
We all have our favorite calculator apps and this remains mine. The interface is comfortable and easy to work with on both iPhone and iPad and I love the way it resizes in new iPad windows now. Both pro add-ons have been well worth it to me, especially export. But, the edit-able and comment-able saved tapes are definitely this app's best feature. The fact that you can go back to and work between multiple tapes is terrific. The only way I can think to make this app better would be to sync & save tapes to iCloud so we could re-load saved tapes and switch seamlessly between tapes on more than one device.

Bug with iOS 26
Update 2: iOS 26.1 seems to have resolved the issue. The developers didn’t do anything even though they said they would. Restored this app review back to 5 stars, though, since it’s working perfectly again.

Update: Downgraded from 3 stars to 2 because the fix has not come through yet, despite the developer’s response below. It should have been easy to fix, and they haven’t updated the app at all in years so I’m skeptical they will actually resolve it. I’ll change the stars back to 5 if they do resolve it, though, because minus the bug I mention below, it’s a great calculator app.

With iOS 26, there is now an issue where if you add (or change) a comment on a line, when you’re done, the number pad does not return. You can see it at the bottom but there’s no way to bring it back without quitting and relaunching the app.
I really hope they update, because it seems like the developer hasn’t updated in years. I bought the pro features for this one, and I’d pay again to keep using it.
Otherwise, it’s still the best tape calculator. Been using it for a long time.

Sad that is not updated anymore.
A beautiful and useful app. Digits has been around for many years. A time ago, it got pulled from the store but reappeared renovated and improved. I’m hope that this time history repeats itself. Would be a dream to enjoy Digits in all Liquid Glass glory. Besides the app, I purchased all the extras to support the developer. Hope it cares as the loyal users do about the app.

One of the best if not the best. I like it keeps track of what you have pressed on each calculation.
It has been great for a few years. The best I’ve used by far, the features, the design (you can even edit the colors), add comments to each amounts, print, send, edit. What’s not to love. But suddenly the app has an issue that when you add a comment it becomes unusable. All the pad is at the bottom, you can see a bit of it that shows but you can’t bring it up. That disables a very important feature which is comments at other apps don’t have. So giving it 3 stars until the feature is fixed.
I uninstalled it to see if it was fixed but it wasn’t. I’m trying to restore the purchase but it says “unable to connect” even with WiFi and wireless which seems to be another bug. I’ll gladly pay for other features if it has when it is fixed of course.

The Best Calculator!
This is very to use. I love its "ticker tape" feature so I know what numbers I have already entered. It can also accommodate numerous digits unlike simple calculators that get error messages with extra digits. Thank you for this wonderful application!
