About

You are here, in 1867. DigMaps puts your live GPS dot on old county atlases, Xtra Resolution LiDAR, historic aerials and today's property lines. Everything you need in one place, built for detectorists, relic hunters and local historians. OLD MAPS The 1800s county atlases that named the farmhouses, mills, churches and schoolhouses, lined up with today's map so the old names sit near where they stood. Old USGS topographic maps too. Fade between then and now with one slider. XTRA RESOLUTION LIDAR Bare-earth terrain with the trees taken away. Cellar holes, old road beds, stone walls and foundations hiding in the woods stand out. PROPERTY OWNERS Tap a parcel to see who owns it today, so you know who to ask before you dig. The owner card also lists that owner's other parcels nearby. HISTORIC AERIALS Step back through decades of aerial photos and watch fields, lanes and buildings come and go. SAVED PLACES Long-press the map to copy the coordinates and save the spot. Your saved places stay on your phone. TRY IT FREE The download is free, and the demo area (New Baltimore, N.Y.) is open to everyone with no account. Everywhere else needs a DigMaps membership: Home State covers one state, and All-Access covers every state we map plus owner names. Memberships are bought on digmaps.app and start with a 7-day free trial. One account works on the web and on iPhone. Coverage today: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, with more states on the way. Owner names appear only where the county or state publishes them and where the law allows. Availability may vary by county. Seeing a name is never permission to enter someone's land.
