About
Digu is the traditional Maldivian card game, now on your phone.
Ten cards in your hand. Draw one, drop one, and race to lock all ten into three sets before anyone else calls DIGU.
HOW IT PLAYS
On your turn, draw from the deck or take the top of the discard pile, then drop a card. Build runs (same suit in sequence) and groups (same rank) until every card you hold belongs to a meld — two sets of three and one set of four.
There are no jokers and no wild cards. Nothing rescues a bad hand, so every card is a decision, and everything you throw is something an opponent may be waiting for.
The first player to a complete hand declares DIGU and takes a bonus. Everyone else scores their melds minus the deadwood stranded in their hand, so a round is not over until it is over.
CALL "1 CARD"
When your hand is a single draw from winning, you can announce it to the table. A red ring appears over your avatar and every player sees it.
It changes no rule. It simply tells the others to stop feeding the discard pile, and turns the last few turns of a round into a standoff. Calling is always optional — and staying quiet is a strategy of its own.
PLAY WITH FRIENDS
Create a private table and share the join code. Pick 2, 3 or 4 seats and a match of 3, 5 or 10 rounds. Or tap PLAY NOW and get seated with whoever is looking for a game.
Tables run live, turn by turn, with a clock on every turn so nobody can stall the room.
PLAY ON YOUR OWN
Practise against bots that genuinely read the table. They track what has been discarded, count the cards that would finish their hand, and push for the declare when they are close. It is a good way to learn the shape of a hand before you sit down with people.
SEE WHERE THE POINTS WENT
A scoreboard after every round shows who melded what, who was caught holding deadwood, and how the totals moved. Your match history keeps your running record.
COINS
Your free coins refresh automatically every Sunday night. There is nothing to claim and no login streak to keep alive — miss a week and you are topped straight back up. You can also redeem a voucher code if you have one.
Coins are virtual, are only ever spent to sit at a table inside the game, and have no real-world value. Digu has no wagering, and pays out no money or prizes.
