Helpful on cruise ship
This app worked pretty well as advertised on my recent cruise/airplane trip, and its only limitations are due to the quirky Bluetooth connectivity and not the app’s ability. For best results, all participants must run the app all the time. Notifications will work when the app is in the background. Notifications do not happen when it is open. Range is finicky because of Bluetooth. It worked great between adjacent cabins on a cruise ship, but was not able to reach 20+ rows separated on an airplane using iPhones. You must pre-pair each in your group to text with each other – good security. The app will tell you that there are others in the vicinity with the app, but not who they are. It would be helpful if the app would highlight who in your pre-paired group are in range nearby. There is no group text function – only 1-1 messaging. So I had to copy/paste messages often.

It says offline messages but then you need Data?
