Could be better engineered
The dime banking mobile app is not as well engineered as other banking apps I have used. One annoying feature is the request for the secret personal information at every login. This could be dispensed with by using facial recognition as other banks do. on the positive side there are no in-your-face ads for banking products or superfluous things like spending trend charts, etc..

I have been with the Dime Bank for 42 years. My family, mom, sisters, brothers, etc. have also been with the Dime Bank for many years. They are a great bank to work with!!
Small bank feel, Big bank protection
I haven’t looked back once since switching from a large corporate bank. Dime is fantastic with customer service and fraud protection is outstanding. Don’t hesitate to give this local bank a chance to serve your financial needs.

Needs an update
App loads great and does everything the app should do, it would just be nice if they added face id.

I love Dime Bank but the app needs to be updated! Please, please, please at least update so FaceID can be used with an iPhone. Too many clicks and verification needed to do one thing! It needs a new look and better user ability. It has everything one would need to do online banking, but needs a better flow to it.

Ease of use could be a little better
Can we get facial recognition for this app? I had fingerprint recognition on my older iPhone but don’t seem to have the option for facial recognition on a newer iPhone.
Does everything you need... when it loads
This app is great and I can do everything I need to do with it! The problem is for the last couple of months the app hasn't cooperated consistency in launching. I've had trouble both trying to launch the app before I can even login and other times when logging in. Sometimes I am able to get to my accounts but I can't click anything because it's still "loading." I think this is a bug from a version released a month or two ago.

This app is fantastic and works great ! Very simple to navigate and Very User Friendly ! The remote mobile check deposit is really convenient. Just take pictures and submit for deposit. It even crops the pictures for you and you can save them to your phone too. You don't even need a deposit slip. Touch ID works well on my iPhone 6. Balance and transactions are all easily viewable at a glance. Great for disabled or elderly who may have trouble getting to the bank and need to deposit a check asap. ( BTW... the Stonington CT Dime Branch is the Best ! Great staff and service !!!! ) Between the local bank and this app, Dime Bank makes banking a simple and pleasant experience. " Don't waste your time... use Dime ! "
I'd give this app 10 stars if I could. GET THIS APP. You'll love it ! It also has tons of useful information on it. Branch locations, services etc etc. A real time saver. Everything you need is just seconds away.

Touch ID doesn't work
Great app except that the Touch ID doesn't work. After setting it up, it works once by it doesn't work the next time. I know it isn't my phone because I have no problem with my other Touch ID apps.

So glad Dime released a app, even though the app resembles their mobile web, it moves very smoothly and I havn't found any issues with it so far in use
