Going downhill due to ai
I love this app but I have noticed that the ai generated experimental stories have gotten way less accurate (I have friends who use it who agree). I don’t think the ai driven stories were horrible at first (though it would still reach sometimes) but now it’s just like “huh???” Also weirdly sexual 😂

Annoying and Constant Ads for Paying Customers
I’ve been a paid user for over 3 years and I’ve raved about dimensional to everyone when it has been relevant to the conversation.
But I’m sick of the constant upselling and cross-selling. I have paid about $100/year, which is with the annual contract, so you’d think it would be the best experience.
Far from it. My home feed is now 50% ads. Since launching their dating app INNI, they overly promote it in every space in their app. They don’t seem to care if you’re in a relationship or not.
I’m also subjected to *Sponsored* ads for BetterHelp throughout the app.
I’m sorry, but aren’t I your sponsor?
And after all these years of being a premium customer, you’d think I’d have full access to the app, but there are still reports I can’t access because I haven’t invited enough people to use their app.
I find it ridiculous that paying the highest tier plan still subjects customers to gross ad saturating and a ridiculous product led growth mechanism that gates value I’ve payed for.
Maybe weigh the value of that PLG against customer lifetime value, especially since you’ve leaned into tracking traits over time, because I’m done with the app.

Hurtful and Strange.
Honestly the worst personality based app I used. Feels like it was very demeaning and insulting especially when on your profile it says things like your toxic traits and basically tells you you’re an awful person. Do yourself a favor and avoid the mistake I made of letting some AI therapist type app tell you what your personality is.

Good idea, but poor execution with shallow tests
I’m not sure why this app is so highly rated. While it works well and I like that much of it is free, the tests itself (which is the premise of the app) are extremely shallow.
The scores on each section are based off maybe 3-5 questions, which isn’t enough to truly form a conclusion on what someone’s like. There’s a reason personality tests like MBTI have so many questions.
It’s too bad, because I like the idea of having a profile created around various personality traits gathered through different tests. It’s just not accurate at all because they prefer to keep every test very short.

I love how this app was able to put together many different aspects of my personality. It helped me to get myself to know better. I loved using it but it got boring after I finished all the quizzes and the go deep section stopped working. I would give a 5 if the go deep section worked again.

It used to be so much better
I used to LOVE this app. Like, so much so that even though I’m a broke student I would pay extra for premium, however, $60??????? Heck no. Actually insane. Now I can’t access everything I used to because it’s all blocked by a pay wall. I understand the desire to make some kind of profit off your work, but this is actually offensive. ):

I took the archetype test got one that isnt me (S/N were close to 50/50), and now I want to retake but I’m not sure how

Dimensional is quite possibly the best app out there to use if you really want to get to know your patterns of behavior, thinking, and emoting. The layout of the app has always been a little confusing to me, but it’s not so bad that it makes the app unusable. I only have one complaint and that is that the app will not let me pay for the premium version. When I click on the button in the app that’s labeled “continue” to pay for the premium version, nothing happens. The button is highlighted as if it has been clicked on, but nothing ever happens. I have so many dimensions that I haven’t read yet because I can’t buy the premium version and it’s making me craaaaazzzzyyyyy!
