Works on 1 PCU only

Why does it only work with one PCU. I have 2 BMWs. Both with a Dinan PCU. Whenever I need to change the setting on one of them. I have to get it to forget the other and re-add. I don’t get why they can’t just add the functionality to use for multiple PCUs.
