Way better than I expected

Moved to NYC recently and didn’t know how I’d meet people. This dinner was easy, relaxed, and actually fun. Left with a couple of real connections.

Great Company, Great Bites

Dine o’clock is my monthly treat. It gets me out of my comfort zone—meeting new people, having real conversations, and trying amazing food I’d probably never find otherwise. Every dinner feels like a reset and gives me something to look forward to. Great food, great company, and a good story to take home. Totally worth it.

The easiest way to meet great people over dinner

Dine O’Clock has quickly become my favorite way to meet new people. Instead of swiping or small talk in a noisy bar, you just show up, sit down, and share a meal with a table of strangers who don’t feel like strangers for long.
The kind of people this app attracts are usually open-minded and up for trying something new, which makes the conversations flow really naturally. I’ve never felt judged or out of place at any of the dinners I’ve joined — the vibe is always warm, relaxed, and genuinely curious.
At our last dinner, we ended up exchanging Instagram handles at the table so we could keep in touch and plan future meetups. It honestly felt more like being introduced to a new friend group than “going to an event.”
If you’ve been wanting to connect with people in real life but don’t know where to start, Dine O’Clock is a really fun and low-pressure way to do it.

Such a fun way to meet people 💕

As a girl who doesn’t love awkward small talk or traditional dating apps, I’ve really enjoyed Dine O’Clock. Sharing dinner with a small group of new people feels natural and safe, and it’s such an easy ice breaker. I’ve been to a few dinners now and always end up meeting at least one person I genuinely click with.
If you want to make new friends offline without feeling weird or pressured, this app is honestly a great option.

Consistently Warm and Meaningful Dinners

Every time I join a dinner through Dine O’Clock, I walk away with a good feeling. The groups are always a mix of interesting personalities, and the conversations feel easy and genuine—not forced at all.
I also like how each dinner lets me see a new side of the city while meeting people who are open, friendly, and curious. It’s become one of my favorite ways to connect with others offline in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

Better than you think

Went to one of the dinners in LA last night after work. Picked the middle $$ option — food was legit good, way better than I expected tbh, I’d go back there just on my own.
People at the table were around my age, similar jobs. Chat was chill, nothing super intense, just normal convo about work, trips, random stuff. Didn’t exactly find a new best friend or soulmate lol, but it was a nice way to spend an evening instead of just scrolling my phone at home.
Overall feels like something I’d do again once in a while when I want to be a bit social but don’t feel like swiping or going to a bar.

Thanks for sharing this! Glad to hear the LA Dine O’Clock dinner felt chill, good food, good people, and a nice break from the usual after-work routine. Even without a “soulmate moment,” a relaxed offline evening is already a win.

Great idea for meeting people in a new city

Dine O’Clock is such an interesting concept, especially if you’ve just moved to a city or don’t really know anyone around you yet. Instead of awkward one-on-one setups, you join a small group dinner and let the app handle the planning.
What I loved most was the mix of people and how naturally things unfolded. Our group had different backgrounds and personalities, but it still felt relaxed and easygoing. One of the girls was local and even took the lead on finding a fun spot to go to after dinner, which made the night feel more like hanging out with friends than using an app.
Overall, it’s a great way to get out of the house, share a meal, and meet real people offline. I’d be happy to use Dine O’Clock again for another dinner.

lowkey the easiest way I made friends lol

Not gonna lie… I moved to nyc recently and was kinda struggling to meet people. Tried Dine O’Clock on a whim and yo, it was actually fun 😂
The dinner wasn’t awkward, the group was cool, everyone was super normal (important lol).
Felt more like hanging out with friends-of-friends instead of forced “socializing.”
Left the night like ok… maybe I can make friends in this city 😭✨
If you’re new here, defs give it a shot.

Thank you so much for this — it seriously made our whole team smile 😭✨ We know how tough it can be to meet people in a new city, so hearing that the dinner felt natural (and not awkward lol) means everything to us. We’re really glad you found a group that felt “super normal” — that’s exactly the vibe we aim for. Can’t wait to welcome you back at another dinner soon 🙌💛

This actually works for singles

I’m single and still looking for a boyfriend, but I hate awkward blind dates and I’m so over endless swiping. Tried Dine O’Clock for the first time and it was exactly what I needed — real people, real dinners, no cringe one-on-one setup. You just pick a night and join a small group of local singles. Our table had six people, convo flowed about work, hobbies, travel, feelings. I did click with one guy, but even if nothing happens, I still left with new friends. If you’re tired of dating apps, this is such a chill offline option.

Actually made friends

Just moved to NYC for work and honestly didn’t expect this app to be THIS good. I'm not into cringey dating apps, but the social dinner here felt super natural. Met a few new friends in one night and it didn’t feel awkward at all. If you’re single or just new in town and wanna meet ppl irl, this is low-key the easiest way. good vibes, good food. booking my next one soon
