Great source!.. sort of

This app is great for beginners, including sounds, data, length and weight and what other dinosaurs are related. Here’s the downfall : over use of a single phrase. If you decide you want to learn about a group of Dino’s, such as bipedal, you will see this phrase repeated 99% of the time : “…which has helped scientists learn more about the anatomy and behavior of this dinosaur.” Or something along the lines.
Now I know no one will get to the end of this, but there is one more sad part, SOME OF THE DINO DATA IS MISSING! Take the Pyroraptor, since it’s a PY it should be near the end of the P’s in alphabetical order. SHOULD BE ; if you take a look at the end of the P section, Pyroraptor is nowhere to be seen!
Hopefully this will get an update soon.
Overall, this Dino app isn’t the best for professionals but is great for beginners who want to study Paleontology at an early age, might I recommend for more experienced groups to use other apps or websites and let other fresh starters use this app. (Just make sure starters don’t like the Pyroraptor!)

Games don’t work

You get the adverts then can’t load the games. Other than sounds, which also has bugs and need to restart the app to make them work, the games are all broken.

Worth all my time

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews for apps, but this one honestly deserves it. If you’re someone who loves dinosaurs, enjoys immersive soundscapes, or just wants something fun and unique on your phone, this app is an absolute gem. From the moment I opened it, I was impressed by how well put together everything felt.

The sound quality is outstanding. Each roar, growl, screech, and rumble feels authentic and powerful, almost like you’re standing in the middle of a Jurassic forest. You can tell the developers really cared about getting the details right—no two sounds feel generic. Some are short and sharp, others long and booming, and together they capture the variety of creatures we imagine from the prehistoric world. Listening with headphones makes the experience even better, because the sounds have so much depth and richness.

Another thing I appreciate is the variety of dinosaurs included. It’s not just the typical T. rex roar (though of course that one is here and it’s amazing)—there are raptors, triceratops, brachiosaurus, and many others. Each has its own distinct personality in the way the sound is designed. It feels like the app is giving you a little audio tour of an ancient ecosystem. I’ve found myself replaying certain sounds just because they’re so satisfying.

The interface is very clean and easy to use. You can quickly scroll through the dinosaurs, tap, and instantly hear the sound without any lag. Everything feels smooth, and it’s designed in a way that even kids could navigate easily. The artwork or visuals that accompany the sounds (if your version has them) are also nicely done—they help bring the experience to life even more.

What really surprised me is how versatile the app is. I’ve used it just for fun, but also as a sound effect for little projects, as a teaching tool with younger family members, and even as a quirky way to grab attention during group calls. It’s always a hit—people instantly smile or laugh when they hear a dinosaur roar coming out of nowhere. It’s also a fantastic app for kids who are fascinated by dinosaurs. They can learn the names, listen to how each might have sounded, and get a feel for how different species lived.

I also love that the app is lightweight and doesn’t bombard you with unnecessary ads or complicated menus. It just focuses on doing one thing really well: giving you the best dinosaur sounds possible. And it succeeds brilliantly at that.

Overall, I can honestly say this is one of my favorite fun apps on my phone. It’s rare to find something that combines entertainment, education, and quality in such a simple package. Whether you’re a lifelong dinosaur fan, a parent looking for something engaging for your kids, or just someone who appreciates unique apps, I’d highly recommend this one. It delivers exactly what it promises, and it does it with a level of polish and care that’s hard to find these days

One thing

SIMPLY AMAZING. this game has been my best friend at telling and teaching me about a whole bunch of dinosaurs! But there is one thing. There r quite a few missing dinosaurs, like dreadnoughtus and even some popular ones. Also, the sounds are very strange, the T-Rex rawr (I can’t spell lmao) is literally the Jurassic park one, which is not accurate at all, and even the parasaurolophis (which has a confirmed sound) doesn’t sound like it should, but other than this, ITS SO GOOD!!!
