Promising app, but too much photo access required

The app looks promising, and I was genuinely interested in trying it out. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use it unless I granted full access to my camera roll, and there wasn’t an option to limit access to just selected photos. That was disappointing, because I would have preferred to test it with more privacy and control. Bummer, because it seemed like it had potential.

Amazing!

The other day I saw this app and I decided to install it just to try it out and I kid you not, this app is amazing! It really does help me edit my photos and videos and turn it into like a vlog. I would recommend this app for anyone willing to edit their photos and videos into a vlog or story!

Age rating is wrong

App Store age rating says 13+, app says otherwise. If you’re gonna make an 18+ app, make sure it says so in the App Store rating as well as in the app… Didn’t even get to use. One star.

Found out things about myself.

What I love about this app is that it organizes my life chronologically and puts them together into groups of my most fun moments, which I can later recall. I made a bunch of videos from many, many years ago, and it felt so magical that I had to share with my friends.

Where the Camera Roll?

When I first started downloading this app, in the “My first edit” it asking me to upload a photo but There’s no camera roll 😡

Pretty convenient!

Wow, right off the bat it prepped a video for me of all of my wedding dress try-ons.

I couldn’t have my mom there for all of them and I was previously spamming her with photos but this made a really nice montage and numbered each dress for me :)

It turned my messy album into lots of beautiful videos

Look, I deleted CapCut and like three other editing apps because they all want me to learn how to be a video editor. I just want my clip to look better. With this one I type what I want and it does it. Captions are accurate too and it really surprised me it understands where the video was shot without me saying it.

Long time user - it’s good!

I’ve been a user of this app since early on in its development cycle. The good, I can’t find a better app to take footage and make it into a semblance of a story. The bad or rather room for improvement- sometimes you want to fine tune your video and the AI struggles to get exactly what you mean sometimes. All that said I think the team is always pushing new updates and features so I’m pretty excited about the future. Give it a go!

We just launched edit note inside of video preview, it allows you to leave a note at a specific time and dipper will pick that up such as “at 00:05, make the music louder” I’m glad to hear you’ve seen the regular updates and new features, and I’m excited about what’s next too. Great video editor assistant

This app has changed how I capture moments with my family and friends. I can now just capture videos and be able to not worry about learning a new editing/music/narration app beyond telling the editor to change it. Perfect for keeping grandparents connected with what the kids I can now have spare time doing other things.
