No

You can’t even open the app without ads popping up. And then once those ads go away if you click on anything else you’ll get another ad.

Scam Detected

Horrible. I’d been using a different tobacco-free app to record the time of my cessation, but it labeled everything as “cigarettes smoked”, and I was a chew guy, so I tried this one instead. It constantly wants to paste something from my Facebook for some reason and it gives me a weird vibe. The ad frequency is also horrendous. I would never recommend this to anyone.

Instant pop up ads

Holy mother of ads

It would be great (VIDEO AD) if this app wasn’t so full (VIDEO AD) of all these ads (VIDEO AD) that pop up randomly (VIDEO AD) when logging in to (VIDEO AD) check your daily (VIDEO AD) progress.

There’s a lot of apps out there that will track events across time whether for vacations, baby deliveries, count downs or withdrawal tracking, I’d recommend nearly any of those before this one.

No help at all

So many ads that the app is practically worthless. All it did was track how much I was saving and how many days I had quit for. No help with mindset or impulse control.

Must use

The money and health metrics in this app were so helpful in motivating me to quit. Love if. This is a must get app on day 1 of quitting dip!

Pro Price

Hello, I downloaded the free version recently and am tempted to try the Pro Version, however I’m unclear about cost. Is it one time $9.99 or is that monthly?

There was no contact info within the app so my apologies for writing a review instead.

Great tool

Dip Quit was very helpful in keeping me on track while I was giving up smokeless tobacco.

Great app easy to use and track helped a lot

Helped a lot on tracking my dips and ended up quiting now it’s tracking my money saved and health benefits love it

Question and Suggestions

Being Able to talk or chat with people through app, also some background on the statistics?!

Only app that helps for just DIP

Only tool that helps me

Chat won’t load - please help!

I have a newer iPhone and the chat feature will not load. Is there a solution for this?

Works fine

The app works fine. I would like to see a richer experience. For example, it would be nice if it linked to more info on nicotine dependence or circulation in the health section of the app. It would be nice if the milestones were more fine grained than one-day increments, especially in the first few days of the quit. I paid extra to use the gradual quit instead of just the free cold turkey version, but surprisingly they only offer one gradual quit option.

Longing time user

I started a gradual quit on this app Christmas Day. It took a while to learn how to use it but I finally got the hang of it.
It great to have the stats which motivate you to stay on track. The CHAT was great to see how others are doing but after a week, IT WON’T LOAD! I tried all the usually remedies, but to no avail.
Some improvements could be graphing daily dips with the timeline, log in triggers and offer encouragement when you don’t use up your allowance.
Other than that, I am way ahead of schedule and hope it helps me stay off.

The best!

It’s an awesome app with a chat board that really helps. I really appreciate whoever created this app, it has worked wonders for me.

Play the Game!

This has made quitting chew a game! And since I like winning the game... it’s nice to see my progress and each achievement knowing I’m winning at my health as well!

Great App. Apathetic Developer

If you filter by most recent, you can see that the chat has been down since early March and the developer has not responded to any complaints or implemented any bug fixes. It also appears that the health tab on the app is also broken. Leaving this a one star until fixed. Other than the fact that it’s completely broken, It’s a great app.

Chat is down

Would give no stars at the moment because the chat has been down and the developer doesn’t care. I emailed him and haven’t heard anything. The app has been helpful up until now. It’s nice to connect with people who are going through the same thing. Now don’t even have that which a lot of people rely on.

Chat not working

The chat part of the app has not worked for over a week. What's going on with that?

Please Fix!!!

The app is awesome but the chat is currently broken!! :(
