I’ve tried everything and still can’t get this app to work. It doesn’t work at all. If your looking for a app remote go with the full version.
Not good at all
It didn’t work. I lost my remote and I had to use the remote to set the application up. Also too many instructions.
Horrible app
Downloaded app it asked to choose receiver and nothing appeared except to charge me more. Already pay them $155 per month. My contract up next week. Guess who is going to drop their “service”? Since att took over it’s been a disaster
doesn’t make sense
I downloaded this app so I could use as a remote, but I can’t because I need to find the IP address. IN ORDER TO FIND OUT WHAT MY IP ADDRESS IS I NEED THE REMOTE TO GO TO SETTINGS. I downloaded it because I don’t have a remote SO WHATS THE POINT ?!?

Very simple to set up with Genie. Works great. Upgraded to full version, it works great as well.

This app can’t find my Directv receiver when it’s right here in front of me. This app doesn’t work.

I can't add a receiver without upgrading. What kind of as trial is that?
Technology has come a LONG way
My boyfriend lost our remote and after a week of using the receiver buttons I looks for other solutions. When I was in highschool u had to buy a app and they nail u some device to make it able to use the phone. This was a life saver, buying the full version RIGHT NOW!

You need to have a receiver with wifi control, I did not. The app is still a great tool for those that have the service from directv! Thank you for making this trial app

Before you can use it you have to access the receiver with the actual remote. If I'm downloading this is because I don't have a remote. Captain obvious. Thanks.
Quit working!
This app WAS great, but it stopped working the second time I tried to use it. I followed the suggestions from the beginning about downloading lite first. Everything worked, so I paid for the full app. That worked at first also. I thought it was a great purchase, and was looking forward to using it. However, after the tv was turned off, and back on, the app indicated that a compatible receiver was not found and most likely my system doesn't support it. Really? I tried resetting my network and tried again, but it didn't work. What is the fix?

Worked well then crashed. When I retried said I had to contact directv to get network connection at addl charge. Didn't need it before crash and two minutes later I do. Junk

The Instructions do not even match the setup on the TV... When you click Menu!!
Found something better for free
The free app only has a keypad. Iam not paying for something I found for FREE with another app that works great.
