Doesn’t work. Tells me how to add my receiver with my remote.. why would I use this if I had a remote in here at the moment. 👎🏻
Works with H24-700 and a few others
We use this app to control 16 DVRs in a sports bar. It can be a little slow at times to refresh all the DVRs on the Home Screen, and sometimes have to restart a DVR to refresh the IP to the remote app but for the cost this has been an incredible resource for our business. Been using it for years 3+ years now. I have it on my phone as well as a couple managers and the hosts have it on an iPad. Simple and gets the job done.

Does not work at all
I downloaded the Lite version of this app and it worked. Unfortunately, it only allows control of one DTv box at a time.
I downloaded this app to control multiple DTv boxes, and this app does not scan the network successfully.
I tried to manually add the addresses and although it seems to connect (no errors), no remote appears.
I went to app settings to select “allow manual”, and that makes the “manual” tab disappear entirely!!
I will rewrite a review if the problems are fixed.

New version needs old remote option
It works but I miss the option to flip the phone in a 16x9 display and the remote would flip with it giving you more techy look. I’d prefer the tech look than the “DUMB” genie remote look.

This app does not work. Will not find my box then when I do it manually still will not find my box.

I can’t get it to work. Tried manual setup and it just simply won’t connect. Downloaded a free app and it works just fine. This was a waste of 99¢
Not working
I can not get this app to work anymore. It does not find any of the receivers anymore.
Frustrating
I’ve had this app, off and on, for a few years now, in the beginning it worked great! Found all of my DirecTv boxes then there was an Apple update, think it was the iOs11 or ?? and it stopped working completely, so I deleted it and after a few months, guess they fixed the issue and again, worked great, seamlessly. BUT here we are again, another Apple update, what are we on now iOs 14?? But again, app stopped connecting and can’t find ANY receivers no matter how many times I delete and reinstall or try to manually connect, still says I’m not on “network” but clearly I am. Gonna delete and hope they update so I can reinstall and use it again.

Just down load direct tv app it’s free and this was beyond complicated
Big Step Backwards
Used to work fabulous with only hardcoded ip addresses. Now it is terrible. Discovery doesn’t usually work. App forgets my hardcoded ip addresses. If the system is off and I try to add back a hard coded address, it doesn’t work. Because of all this, the app is worthless unless the directv Box is already turned on. This was a great alternative to DirecTV’s uselessly bloated app. Please put it back the way it was!

Doesn’t connect to any of my direct tv receivers. Even when you do a manual set up. Not worth the .99

After April 11th update it doesn’t work anymore. Other apps can find my receivers but not this one.
