About

Dirtmo is the ride app built for dirt bike riders. Open the map, find the trails, and go. Record the ride, see your friends live while you’re out, and know that someone always knows where you are. It works when the cell signal doesn’t. MAPS THAT WORK IN THE WOODS Trails and riding areas across the US and Canada, free to download and use offline. Browse the map without an account. When the signal drops, the map stays. RECORD EVERY RIDE One tap to start. Time, distance, your line on the trail, and your climbs, saved on your phone first, then uploaded when you’re back in range. A ride is never thrown away because you had no signal. SEE YOUR CREW LIVE Ride together and see your friends move on the map, with their photos. Only the friends you choose, only during that ride. YOUR PIT CREW KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE Send your partner, a parent or the buddy waiting at the truck a simple code. They follow your ride from their own phone, no account needed: where you are, how long you’ve been out, and when you’re due back. EVERY TRAIL IS TIMED Your ride is matched to the trails you rode. See your time on every trail, trail leaderboards, and medals for your personal bests. Your riding level is earned from your real trail times, never typed in. YOUR GARAGE Keep your bikes with their photos, engine hours and maintenance. Know when the air filter is due before it costs you. FEED, FRIENDS AND CLUBS Share rides and photos with friends, comment, and tag who you rode with. Follow your local clubs to see their rides and posts. Find riders to ride with, and plan a ride before you go. BUILT FOR THE RIDE - Hazard reports and trail conditions from riders - Route back to where you started - Apple Watch app: your ride, the map and your friends on your wrist - Light and dark, large text and VoiceOver supported YOU CONTROL WHO SEES WHAT Your exact tracks and home area stay private. Friends see what you share, and you choose whether your trail times show on leaderboards. You can block and report any rider or post. Free to use. For riders 18 and older. Ride safe. Bring a buddy. Tell someone where you’re going.

What's New in Dirtmo

1.5.0

October 26, 2026

OFFICIAL TIMING BULLETIN Event: 1.5.0 Posted on the timing tent. Read it before you file a protest. RULING 1: START AND FINISH GATES Your clock now starts a few bike lengths into the trail and stops a few before the end. Ride in with your buddies, sit at the entrance arguing about who goes first, roll out the bottom and chat: none of it touches your time. Every time already on the boards was timed again the new way, so most times read a few seconds shorter. You didn't lose a thing. Neither did Derek, sadly. RULING 2: THE LAND SPEED RECORD IS VOID Some trails are drawn in pieces, and a rider who clipped a tiny spur could get the whole trail's time. 4.2 km in 3 seconds was not a record, it was a bug. Times now count over the whole trail, and the impossible ones are gone. RULING 3: NO PODIUM FOR THE PARKING LOT Trails of 150 m or less have no leaderboard. Riding one still counts as ridden. Nobody needs a KOM for the walk to the porta-potty. RULING 4: PLACES STAY PUT The place a ride earned could come out wrong when several rides were checked again at once. Fixed. Your 2nd is your 2nd. PADDOCK NOTICES Riding together. A buddy already started a group? Dirtmo now asks if you want in on theirs instead of starting a second one. Tap Ask to join, they tap Let in, you're riding together. One live group at a time. And when the last rider leaves, the group ends and the results show the real finish, not twelve hours later. Camera crew. Your GoPro or DJI Osmo Action starts and stops with your ride. Manual or Auto, your call. Your wrist. The watch ride screen was rebuilt: the map first with your line, then time, heart rate and calories, with the camera one tap away. Start from the phone and the Apple Health question now makes sense for a watch. Trails we don't have. Cut your ride into trails yourself: set where each one starts and ends, call it a trail or a road, or leave it for later. It shows as an unnamed line until staff or three riders confirm it. YOUR PODIUMS Every trail where you sit 1st, 2nd or 3rd, together on Stats, with a trophy band made for bragging. Someone passed you? You hear about it once a day, never at night. Then you go ride. STATS, REBUILT Your riding level up top, in its own colour: Black diamond rider, Top 12%, at your home area. Then your year: trails, time on the bike, distance and rides, and how your riding splits across green, blue and black. A 12-week chart shows when you actually ride. Your times are one clean list, medals included. SMALL PRINT Got more than one bike? The ride page shows which one you rode in a quiet line. Tap it to change. Each personal best says when you last rode it and where it sits on the trail's board. The finish screen no longer asks about condition reports you sent yourself. Know a trail we don't? Send us the map file at dirtmo.com/submit. We review every one. Protest, praise or a trail we got wrong? You → Settings → Contact us. A real person reads every one.
