Not sure whose great idea it was to make every feature worse, make the UI less intuitive and the app consistently buggy and unreliable.

Unusably bad
Now so bad it’s unusable. Trying to browse a seller’s store but no longer have any option to filter their thousands of listings by genre or whatever. Dropdown for sorting by price etc refuses to work nine times out of ten. After a bit of scrolling, the whole thing goes into a glitchy frenzy of self-scrolling up and down at ridiculous speed leaving no option but to force quit. Attempt to make purchase and generate revenue for Discogs abandoned, permanently. Good work tech guys!

Frustrating bugs
It’s great to log my music but this version has lots of bugs that make it very very frustrating to use. It locks up on almost every new entry, causing multiple copies and other problems. PLEASE FIX THESE!! - TIA

Haven’t opened in a week? LOGGED OUT
Legit if you have not opened this app in a week or two it will log you out. So often that you have to create numerous passwords to keep up. If anyone worth anyone from Discogs sees this, you undoubtedly will be forsaken to hell for this incompetence

I’ve been using the Discogs app for years and am compelled to submit a review. Rich with features, continual improvements, innovative features, ease of use, and so much more. Rarely experience errors or bugs, or a need for support. Makes my love of records complete. Thank you!
Update Sucks
Update is horrible. It pushes the focus on being a marketplace vs a former awesome catalog of my vinyl. I despise that I have to dig through each record post to find matrix numbers instead of just clicking the old “notes” tab. I needed that tab- especially when it came to mix matched pressings or bootlegs. Where is the hotlink?!? Horrible, horrible update. I feel like I have completely wasted my time uploaded my ENTIRE collection. This just plain sucks.

Fix the typing issues and it'll be perfect
Every single time I type, if I type faster than normal, it deletes half the word and puts a couple letters on the other side of the line so you have to click and reposition it, deleted the remaining ruins of the word, and keep going, which it does every 10-15 seconds, it is SO annoying, just fix it already

App
I usually use Discogs on my computer as the app has a long loading time, often freezing and timing out when I add albums to my want list or collection. Apart from app technical issues, it is a great platform to search and purchase music.

Forced Log-Out
I literally love Discogs. Best pure marketplace on the planet! However, the iOS app regularly forces a logout. Please fix and add FaceID….you’ll regain 5-Stars.
Nice to haves for Discogs while I’m at it: please add a smart help page in running basic Python-script queries or Excel PowerQueries that work for the layman in order to download and sync one’s collection, in the most efficient manner. Secondly, add more fields for downloads such as “Year” vice only “Released Year”, “original purchase price”, “country origin”, “collection value: low, med, high prices”, etc.

As of 21 May 2025, the forced logout bug still exists. One star.

18 June 2026, Discogs app is continuously getting better and way less finicky, but…..still kicks you off. Just add FaceID and you’ll get that 5-star rating.

USED to be brilliant...
This app used to be brilliant, but now it is a sluggish glitchy haphazardly sloppy mess with a fancy a new UI overhaul. It constantly gets confused, freezes or crashes and just leaves you feeling frustrated!!
I miss the old app which, whilst lookng outdated, actually worked beautifully. Also the annoying blue feedback button constantly gets in the way!!!

Glitches all the time
I can’t stand it. It crashes and glitches all the time. Loading is a nightmare. On occasion it will work.
Confusing to use
Should be 0 stars. Fix your damn user interface. When I click on an album, the add to collection doesn’t pop up. It should allow me to add an album without having to load it up in a certain way.
