Cannot move forward
Was excited for this game. Unfortunately I cannot get past the tutorial of buying the items for the store on the computer. It will not read any purchases as a completed task, so I am stuck in the store and cannot move forward in the game. Also - the controls are awful, we should really just be able to tap on the screen to go where we want like in Stardew. The joystick is so irritating and it’s on the wrong side. Putting it on the right side will not solve the problem. Please get rid of it all together. I’d like a refund if you can’t fix the glitch that has me stuck in the tutorial. Thanks.

Very Fun
The art style is very pretty, and the gameplay is enjoyable. It is definitely worth the money, and I hope to see more games like this on the App Store in the future. I also love the fact that there are no in app purchases. You pay once and get the whole game.
Fun game, iffy performance
The game is great. I’ve played it on multiple systems. Unfortunately the iOS version has a lot of performance issues. The biggest issue for me is micro stutters. Even on low settings on an iPad Pro m4, the game just stutters randomly. Unless this is the only way you can play it, I’d say skip it and get it on a console or pc.

As previous comment from another.. I also second notion that controls could be improved greatly. For me I personally think a grab button and a swap item button should be an option (play buttons)

Omg I love it. I played it on my steam but it’s so muchhh better on my phone. I’ve been playing it nonstop since I downloaded it on my phone and I love the extra stuff that they added on to it.
Great game but I’m confused
When I need to buy something it says I need wood metal and something green i don’t know what is that I think it’s recycled plastic but how to get it? When I go to the recycling machine I doesn’t give me anything please help me

Third time playing the intro
I think this is a lovely game. I was playing the trial to see if I would like to purchase. I have no issues purchasing a game if I enjoy playing it and it’s a solid game. I appreciate the opportunity to try before I buy as I really want to play for a couple hours to see if it’s something I want to purchase. I’m not sure if the trial version is the issue or if I’m not suppose to be able to save past a certain point but I have completed the store grand opening/ first day 3 times and when I load the game it defaults back to me walking around town and hanging posters before the grand opening. I want to play a bit past the first day to get a better understanding of normal game play but it’s frustrating to replay the tutorial quest over and over so I’m not going to move forward with purchasing right now. I adore the concept of the game. It reminds me of stardew valley without the farming and instead you run a business while also being more story driven - Which I love!!! It seems like alot of thought was put into everything. There are tons of other parts of the game to explore, interact with and entire town open to you! Very unique and cute game. I have no doubt I’ll come back to it when the developers work out the bugs and cloud saving issues. A few other minor issues I’ll mention is that the picking up and placing item mechanics are a little difficult to use. I constantly hit the wrong item as they are so small or I pick up items rather than placing.

You can see a lot of effort went into making this. I’d ignore the 1 star review making comparisons to games like stardew that have been in development fkr over a decade.

Detailed and Charming - a little buggy
Discounty has a lot of charm - you can feel the passion for the project through the small details. The price is steep for an app game, but if you're looking to become engrossed in small-town vibes and mysteries, this can be overlooked.
It should be noted, this mobile version of the game includes the DLC expansion released on the PC version! (+hours of stories and events)
Some complaints: my custom name reset after looking in the mirror and was unchangeable from Shopkeeper. The “checkout” screen blocks nearly the entire view of the store so you can't keep an eye on what needs restocking.
TL/DR Overall, a fun little world you can run a shop in while uncovering the mysteries if you can get past the price tag.

We let our players first try the game, and then take a decision if they want to purchase or not, we hope you understand! On Steam this game is $19.99, so it's still cheaper on mobile, and it's about 25+ hours of content. Since it's on a phone, the UI is quite hard so manage, but you can sometimes just exit the checkout screen and take a look.
재밌음
두시간 정도 플레이 했는데 다른 리뷰 말대로 이름이 바뀌는 버그 말고 아직 다른 버그는 없는 것 같음. 근데 조작법이 좀 구리긴 함. 위로 걷다가 갑자기 방향을 바꾸면 이속이 순간 엄청 느려지고 조작키가 잘 안듣는 것 느낌이 듦. 근데 그거 말곤 아직은 재밌음. 가게 운영 시간이 너무 짧은 것 같음. 시간이 되게 빨리 지나가는데 난 장사를 좀 더 하고 싶은데... 나중에 가게 운영 시간 늘리는 아이템은 안나올 것 같고... 시간 느리게 가는 옵션이라도 만들어줬으면 좋겠음.
Bugs
Cute game, but I’m having trouble with cloud saves (for instance, I downloaded and tried playing on my iPad and it showed no saved games. So I started a new one, which somehow overwrote the saved one I had on my iPhone?! I went from a couple weeks into the game to 2 days 😑)
Also I frequently have to restart days because if I get interrupted during a game day it reloads the app when I turn my phone back on to play, which starts the day over.

Apple Pencil friendly
Loving the game only thing I would like for it to Apple Pencil compatible like using the pencil to pick things up, you can use it to move around with the controller, but that’s it like you can’t click on dialogue so I would love for that to be fixed
Overall great game, but the controls for mobile aren’t ideal
I was so excited to get this game when I saw it was coming out for mobile. I haven’t found a game I’ve been really engaged with in the mobile format since Stardew Valley. I like the idea and game, however I find the controls don’t work well for a tablet. It would be nice to have the option to move the joystick to the right side of the screen or to have a different mechanic for movement as it’s tricky to use and fatiguing. I also noted that when at the cash in the shop you aren’t able to see your conveyor belt or other parts of the screen so it’s tough to actually check out customers efficiently without memorizing what multiple are buying at once. Anyways, love the idea and enjoying the game but these are the things that may deter me from buying the full version or playing long term.
