It’s really frustrating because some seasons and episodes don’t come out in the UK or if they do they are weeks behind the US schedule
Ads in paid subscription
If you think I'm paying to watch adverts. Naaah. You guys wonder why people revert to piracy. It's garbage services like this.
Cancelling after subscribing for years
I can no longer tolerate the ads. 6 ads every 10 minutes is too much. I’ll get my trash tv elsewhere until you treat us here in the UK 🇬🇧 like the USA and give us an ad free subscription.
Gone down hill
I’ve had a Discovery subscription for years & I’ve now finally cancelled it. There really isn’t anything worth watching anymore. I’ve watched all of the crime series & documentaries most of which have been on there so long I’ve watched them twice. I have no interest in reality to which it seems is wear they are focusing on now. I’ll save my money & find a new streaming service with fresh viewing!

To many adds
I don’t mind the app, and I understand that adds are there for them to make money, but they are way to often, I can be watching something and five minutes in five adds 2 mins later another five adds. It’s ridiculous most of the episodes are 25-30 mins long you don’t need 20 adds in that time frame makes me not want to use the app, and contemplating getting rid of the subscription. Yea be competitive with price but doesn’t mean you have to have 20 adds per episode that runs for 20 - 30 mins normal t.v don’t run that many

Too many ads
I’m watching 20+ ads per episode. Most series don’t have all the seasons. Not sure what the point in a “premium” subscription is, free telly has less ads and costs less. Just not worth it
Latest Seasons
I’ve only given 3 stars as it takes too long for a new show season to be available for viewing. With online newsfeeds it spoils initial viewing thereafter.
Great app but
The app is great and the show are amazing but they are so desperate to get you to subscribe to the bigger one that they now get seven adverts in one add break in a show if u consider the are more than one add break the solution is to get paid tv subscription that comes with a recorder like sky and just record the shows and skip the adds in addition I don’t buy anything in the adds because I am tried of seeing their names

I absolutely love discovery+ especially the programs like Homestead. I like the fact that there are many varieties of programs that cater for my taste.

Good set up and app functionality, but no download function for offline viewing.

Bigger writing and coming soon list
As a frequent Discovery+ user I would like to see larger writing for the description of TV programs & episodes. I also would like to the the “coming soon like” come back as that was very useful.
The forced ads finished it for me
I had Discovery + from the very start and would spend hours watching which was a great value service and ad free.
They got greedy and insist in showing ads (apparently to keep it affordable) as soon as they done that I cancelled my subscription.
Just a very low rated app now with absolutely no option in the UK to go ad free.
