Extraordinary
Awesome Jellyfin Player
My biggest ask would be DLNA, there are currently no Jellyfin audio players that work with Sonos speakers like Symfonium does on Android. Hope you will consider this 🙏🙏
Next to that would be lyrics improvements, like letting us click each line to skip to it, and having it highlight the currently playing lyrics.
Thanks for an awesome Jellyfin player Mr. Developer 🫡
Response from developer
Thank you for the details and warm words! I really try to keep and lightweight and easy to use while introducing more features. Time synced lyrics will come for sure, I'll be onto it after some more fixes for 0.7.x version. DLNA is quite old protocol, so if I went for this, it wouldn't be soon sadly. I put it on backlog, though.
Pretty Darn Good!

Thank you for detailed review! Shuffle all is not implemented yet, but will be eventually, since it requires dynamic queue updates: the app can’t enqueue all 100k tracks at once, and some users have such amounts of data.
Promising player!
My default thing to do when I open the app is look at my album list but because we’re loading from the server every time and I’ve got a few thousand albums it takes a very very long time to the point where I’ve only seen it once pls fix ty 🙏
Response from developer
Thank you for detailed review! I agree that currently on large datasets Discrete may take quite a long time to process. I have this on backlog and bumped it up in priority. I hope you'll like the app even more when the fix comes.
Awesome app
Response from developer
Thank you too for using Discrete! You’re always welcome to reach me have you any issue at all. Keeping on meanwhile!
The cleanest UI!
It could be nice to be able to customize the home section at some point? The current sections feel somewhat redundant (new releases vs recently added? suggestions vs try this out?). I’m mostly an album listener though, so this doesn’t affect my usage at all. Love the app!
Outstanding work

Appreciate! Working on bringing more.
Almost

Coming some time later, thank you!
I’ve tried most of them…
Response from developer
Glad to hear it works well. Stability, ease of use and good looking are main priorities for me. Feel free to contact me in case of issues or just for giving thoughts on possible features. There's navigation redesign coming which will allow next pack of features to be fitted in, so stay tuned!
Professional app
Basically perfect
4/5 because I really wanted a section where it shows all the songs. We have home, playlists, albums, and artists but no section for all the tracks in one place. I kind of go around this by making a massive playlist on Feishin before using this app.
Would be a 5/5 if you normally just listen to albums and don’t care about singles.
Response from developer
Thank you, I'm glad it works fine for you! Surely, 'All Songs' screen is something many asked for. Recent 0.6.0 release has internal improvements for handling big lists, since some users have really large libraries and such a screen should work well with 100k+ songs in it. Surely, it'll come eventually to Discrete, just need a little more work on foundation for this. Stay tuned!
Incredible Jellyfin Player

Top music player for Jellyfin

Best Jellyfin Music Player
Good, but missing vital feature.
Response from developer
Thank you. Have to say, that shuffling whole library is not a ‘just’ feature. Imagine my library be 2000+ albums. To do it right requires some design. I plan on some parameterised queue ‘generator’ where you could set up filters and rules and generates queues to your liking. However, that’s not implemented right now. I hope you’ll reconsider using Discrete when it comes.
My New Favorite!
Plus, the developer appears to be active in the community and eager to keep building. Absolutely recommended.
Response from developer
Thank you, though still way to go I think. Especially for desktop experience, so stay tuned!
