Disappointing
The app must be very low on Dish’s lists of priorities, with their efforts clearly focused on glossy magazines, given the lack of progress made over the years. There is no reason for digital subscription when if you sign on a new device, you’re unable to download back issues that you should rightfully be able to access.

Don’t buy E books
Don’t buy a ebook subscription because if you don’t renew it, you lose your ebooks. I’ve have lost a year’s worth of subscription. So disappointing
Unable to access previous editions
Even though I have been a subscriber for over 6 years to Dish and its my absolute favourite cooking magazine, the app does not allow you to access issues front the past. I can only access what is currently available. I recently upgraded my iPad and can’t even access editions downloaded on my previous device which means those I have been downloading are now lost. Please fix this Dish!

Really disappointed at how glitchy the app is.
You loose old issue if between devices
You loose all your old issues if you get a new device or have more than one
Pointless
I am subscribed to both hard copy and the ap, but find the ap is pointless. It is impossible to search for recipes and is basically no better than the hard copy. Expect more from an ap.

Very disappointed in the new app. It is unreliable resulting in multiple lost copies. Please get it right as your reputation is being damaged.
Furious with new update
Due to recent upgrade I am now no longer able to access my past copies of magazine! Am furious.....will be cancelling subscription if no rectification imminent!
Don't update!
I updated to the new version but am a bit disappointed. What used to be a great app has somehow been downgraded. May as well go back to a print subscription 😔

Beautiful NZ magazine
I usually subscribe to receive the hard copy of the magazine but the electronic is just as good. So no more clutter of magazines sprawled over the house.

Dish it up
I came across Dish Magazine in a small country cafe on a drive to Mudgee in NSW. I literally sat for ages reading every page and enjoying my Sunday breakfast. First thing when I got home was visit their website and I have been enjoying this magazine ever since. Love the content,love the recipes. Keep up the great work.

Disappointing
I have been a huge fan of Dish for some time but had stopped buying the papercopy magazine in an attempt to be more green.
I am very pleased therefore to try the app. The magazine is still great and, if anything, better to read via the app. However, I think there are some areas where it trying to be too clever.
However, my biggest gripe is the functionality when trying to actually follow a recipe and cook. The app does not overread the iPad's auto lock. Therefore in the middle of cooking, you lose your place and to make matters worse, the page does not redisplay when you restart. I kept having to restart the app mid wooden spoon flourish. Rather frustrating.
On a bright note, the Chicken and chorizo with Parmesan Gnocchi was a huge hit. Yummy!
