App Keeps Crashing
Can’t add any computers because the app keeps crashing when requesting a code
8 years & counting…
What’s new you ask? Not much… for 8+ years. Almost impressive how long this app has been without an update, certainly one of the longest I’ve seen on the App Store.
I don’t know why Binary Fortress seemingly can’t be bothered to put any effort towards their mobile apps but it’d certainly be nice if they could… like c’mon, this is embarrassing for 2024.

Lacking a Lot of Polish and Features
DisplayFusion is an amazing piece of software and is an essential part of my PC experience.
When the remote app was introduced, it seemed like a good idea and I really looked forward to seeing how it improved.
It hasn’t seen any useful updates in a long time. It’s still missing a lot of polish and essential features.
Worse still is that iOS has evolved to where there are even more things I’d like to see added to make this app useful. However, it’s hard to ask for Shortcuts support or Widgets when you still can’t even favorite a function.
I’m not uninstalling because I do VERY rarely need to use it, but don’t download thinking this app is anywhere near today’s design and functionality standards.

Severely Outdated
I downloaded this hoping that it would contain even basic usability access with Shortcuts, but this app doesn’t even support modern iPhone displays. Absolutely needs integration with modern iOS features.
How to get the app to work.
It’s not clear on how to properly set up this function but here’s how I got mine to work.
1) open DisplayFusion on your PC
2) go to the “Remote Control” section on the left of the menu
3) on the top of the application there’s a checkbox that says “Enable DisplayFusion Remote Control”
4) CLICK APPLY on the bottom right of the application
5) Windows fire wall will pop up asking for permission to connect and I selected both options to allow through private and public
6) open “DisplayFusion remote” app on your phone and refresh
7) your pc should be available to connect to on the list. Click your PC name
8) it will ask you for a security code on the phone which can be found towards the top left of the application on your PC.
9) after the code is entered all of the functions will be unlocked and you will get a log of all the actions you’ve preformed via phone.

Your software is great on windows, please offer Mac OS support and to save face I recommend removing this app and just creating a new app like your android app. Just my honest opinion.

Downloaded the software on PC it does an amazing job really binds into the operating system and gives you so many powerful features. Really made my PC stand out now I can adjust where I want my programs opening and closing. Takes all the hassle out of windows terrible multi screen screensaver this is so much better. Tried the app followed the instructions and hey presto all works. Absolutely incredible. Probably the most underrated and understated piece of programming ever. Well done.

Works Amazingly!
This app has been around for a while, and DisplayFusion is IMO the leader in configuration apps for PC. This remote app works perfectly and has some great functions available to control your PC while you are away from it.
I had a little issue setting it up, but it was only because I forgot to hit ‘apply’ after enabling the remote function abilities on the displayfusion app on my PC. It’s a simple error, and I’m sure others have given up trying to get this to run because of it.

Broken
Sounds great in theory, problem is though, that it does not work.
Period.
Despite following instructions to the letter, it point blank refuses to even see my PC.
Not automatically,& not with the PC’s ipv4 address entered manually.
I’m confident I did everything precisely and correctly, and I’m quite experienced with networks.
(And should be, its my profession).

Great app
Would like if it saved ip addresses I manually entered. Everything functions well/as intended and is useful for those who need certain function to be done without being at your machine.
No Aspect of This App Works
Just played around with it, noting works. You can't add via standard IP or IPv4 address as shown in the tutorial... Doesn't autofind your PC... App blearily functions display wise either! The refresh button looks terrible and pixly, the refresh spiny icon does not move and seems out of proportion anyways, dragging down doesn't make it refresh like usual and it's not even the same app pictured in the app store! Good luck whoever uses this.

I am not sure what it is like
The iPhone app just crashes every time I try to connect. So I am unable to do anything.

Excellent software
This app links to the display fusion desktop software. The software is brilliant, loads of features and a whole section of custom scripted functions so you can customise anything you like. Fantastic support. I highly recommend!

Useless
I was hoping this would be actual remote control but this just has a bunch of functions that are totally useless for a remote app. When on earth will i use a single one of these functions?... "Bring mouse cursor to center"... When would i need to use this remotely?!
