Surprised
Honestly, I was surprised. I had set up a couple alerts in the app and then kind of forgot about it. Like a month later I get a notification and sure enough it had caught the price drop I was looking for. The app itself isn’t the most polished or intuitive to use. But it does work!
Overcharges customers
The monthly subscription is prohibitively expensive and there is no option to purchase one off or limited access/tokens. I have been charged for an additional months access that I do not need or want and they refuse to refund. Shameful business practice.
Takes the time and worry out of monitoring a site
I absolutely love this App! I used it to monitor stock on a hard to get Canyon E bike. I set up one monitor to for the back in stock notification and another for the availability. It is easy and intuitive to set up the notifications. You can choose precise items of a webpage to monitor and how often you want them checked. Before using the app I was relying on me remembering to check the site every few hours throughout the day. Once I had the monitors in place, though, I could stop worrying and the notifications came straight to my phone and watch. I absolutely recommend this 100%!

Works great, if you take the time to understand and test the various elements and settings
While this may present as a simple solution, it works best when you spend time tweaking and testing your site monitoring. I’ve been able to set things up right in order to avoid missing things as well as false alarms. If you use this for business or for finding valuable items in a competitive market then it’s well worth the price. My only wishes right now is for there to be an Apple Watch app that I could use to at least see previews of monitor alerts without having to necessarily open my phone to check. Or for the visual preview seen in the email notifications to also be shown in the text notifications and through the webhook interfaces. The visual part is important to me so that would be huge.

Just bad
Firstly there is a hard cap on the number of searches you have a month that is not communicated with the user when subscribing.
Secondly my account didn’t receive full service for the month I was subscribed for.
I somehow have 6000/1000 searches used for month.

It is very usefull and beneficial for me as a call center agent so that i will be aware of new chats that comes and alert me
Free features removed
I used Distill successfully a few months ago to set monitors on my laptop and receive mobile notifications. I went back to set up a monitor and found this is now a paid feature with the lowest membership tier costing $15 a MONTH. Removing previously free features and charging for them feels dishonest.

Did Not Function
I downloaded the app and started a subscription with a 10 min refresh time on a website that does random merchandise drops. Unfortunately the app did not pick up up when the drop happened, I caught it first by monitoring the web page for about 2 hours and manually refreshing every 5 minutes myself. Afterwards, it unfortunately never sent a ping or detected the new merchandise, so it just did not pick up activity that occurred.

The sign up scam
Recognizing that that app manufacturers are colluding in this stunt to advertise “free trial” but to do so they demand your personal credit card information needs to stop. These guys perpetrate this misleading marketing stunt.
Brilliant!!! Game changer
I was given the run around by Eurostar snow-train. They told me tickets would be coming up for the Sunday. I bought return tickets for my friends on the Saturday, us wanting to stay extra day, awaiting the Sunday ones to appear, which Eurostar staff assured me would! In the end no Sunday trains at all so only one way snow-train as all Saturday sold out. Until DISTILL! I set it up running for weeks to see if any returns. This week Distill sent me an update: tickets available! Downside Eurostar baff doubled the price but at least I now bought tickets home.
Without Distill I would have missed this and had to do multiple train changes with all ski gear. Thank you DISTILL!

I had a payment issue, partially because Im an idiot and allowed apple to auto-generate me an email, and the team successfully navigated my irate-ness (and some bad words) and helped me not only cancel but issue a refund. Extremely grateful. Ty!
Pricing model is excessive for what it is.
It’s a DOM monitor on a scheduler with a UI. $20/month is absolutely excessive.

The BEST there is…
I don’t usually write app reviews but try to give props to indie devs when I can. This is by far the best way to track websites for changes - not only for products. The upgraded version is totally worth every penny. I have monitoring running on my Mac in Chrome with NordVPN running as an extension. This way my entire machine isn’t on a VPN, only Chrome during monitoring so I don’t get locked out of retailers like Newegg or Asus that love to IP ban. If any button goes from “out of stock” or “auto-notify” to “add to cart” I get a push notification via the app, an email and a text. It’s just another tool to try and beat the bots! Love this developer and love this app! Wish I had known about it years ago…. Will continue to support them via the paid version! Dev- THANK YOU! Don’t ever stop!

Free trial prevents you from cancelling
Won’t let me cancel my subscription. I tried clicking the cancel subscription button, takes me to the App Store but shows no pop up. I also tried deactivating the account and it sends me to a web browser and it says “Cannot get settings / account”.
