Truly a hidden gem
I remember playing this game long long ago and it was the first mobile horror game that had me so intrigued with the story, revisiting again now it truly holds up superbly I highly recommend if you come across this gameā¦

absolutely mind blowing
honestly this is my first time writing a review and itās much deserved. This game was really good, eye opening, and tricky. My mind was so blown and I had to be very thoughtful. Even in the frustration of not knowing what to do sometimes, I still never thought about deleting itā¦ like I normally do. My one complaint is.. I wish it didnāt end, but all good things must come to a.. well end, THE end.

I loved this game. The story was very nice quite depressing but cool. Iām downloading again to play since itās been a while. I would say this is one of the best mobile games Iāve played

I love the app thereās just one thing when I found the dog it wouldnāt let me tell the other dude that I found the dog when I did finally find the dog. why is that?

Cons: puzzles are mostly trial and error, walking is way too slow and unavoidable.
I kept playing due to the suspense and donāt regret my time spent, but sometimes I almost wanted to quit out of boredom.

Impressive
I was pretty impressed with this game. I have a hard time with games where youāre constantly dying because you loose a lot of progress. This game has a really good story line and I enjoy the unique graphics.

This is a great old school puzzle horror game. It has a great creepy vibe, from the music to the (yes even in 2D) graphics. It's exactly as the developer described it, and it's only $.99! Hopefully not many people will feel bad about "wasting" their whole $.99 if they don't happen to like the game... As for me, it's worth the $1 for a couple hours of great gaming!

The writing is heavy-handed and the game design is amateurish. There are some creepy audio-visual elements, but they donāt have the strength to carry the whole experience.

DISTRAINT may not be the best at making you jump, but itās great at putting you on edge. Once things started getting interesting, I was pretty uncomfortable from how everything was going so... normally. And then theyād throw in a little scary thing or two, always at just the right time. This game is great at creeping me out, but Iām a little skittish, so... yeah.

Not a bad game for the amount of time it took to create it. My biggest problem is that the Steam price is unreasonable in comparison to the iOS price for a game that can be finished in less than 3 hours with no replay value.
The story felt very shallow to me personally. I really enjoyed the graphics, however. They seemed very original to me. It was very cute. There were some grammatical errors toward the end of the game, but nothing terribly confusing.

Worthwhile puzzle game with a creepy environment
I enjoyed this game for a number of reasons: original and logical puzzles, interesting and believable storyline, a couple good puns, and a layer of creepiness over everything that happens. It took me 4-5 hours to play through and I had to look up two solutions online, but I loved the overall feel and experience. I disagree with the reviewer that said this game was a claim about "capitalism" and "eminent domain" and whatever; the game has a message but it's more about how your mental state reacts when you live your life in conflict with your personal moral values. I definitely recommend giving this game a shot!
