District Fix

Some districts just don't work. A factory looms over a row of houses, smoke drifting through open windows. A theatre sits next to a temple — the choir keeps interrupting the show. A market with nobody nearby to feed. The neighbourhood is unhappy and it shows. Your job is to fix them. You move buildings around a grid one cell at a time, watching little mood bubbles pop up over each placement. A park next to a house — the house is happy. A factory next door — not so much. You're not solving anything with formulas. You move things, you see what changes, you nudge. Each district is a small puzzle from a different time. An ancient market that's grown too crowded for its own good. A medieval village trying to share space between the smith, the church, and the inn. A future block where the bio dome stands a little too close to the energy tower. Six eras, twenty districts each, every layout stuck in its own way. Sometimes you lay it out in a minute. Sometimes you move the same building five times, walking around the kitchen with the phone in hand, waiting for it to click. Earn one star for making the district livable. Two when it's humming.
