Districtly

I developed this app to determine someone's electoral district and ward while petitioning to get candidates on the ballot for a municipal election. You load a map for a town and those districts and wards are available. Tap on any area of the map and it will identity that electoral district and ward. Type a district number into the text field on the top toolbar, and that electoral district will be highlighted on the map. Type an address into the search field at the bottom of the map and the district containing that address will be highlighted. Coverage is currently available for the southern counties of New York state. If you are interested in data for additional counties, county legislative districts, state legislative districts, or congressional districts, contact us at districtly@tinker.software Tap on the map icon on the toolbar lets you pick a town from the Available list to show on the map -- or find a town in the Counties list to download the district data into the Available list. Tap on the contacts icon on the toolbar to locate the electoral district and ward for someone in your contact list. Tap on the refresh icon on the toolbar to recenter the map on the currently selected town. Tap on the question mark to display instructions
