Boating Made Stress-Free
This app is awesome for boaters! It makes planning super easy with clear maps and smart routes. I really like that it shows no-wake zones, depth info, and even past routes so you don’t have to guess. The “Where to, Captain?” search is fun and helpful. ETAs are spot on, and I feel way more confident on the water. Totally recommend it for anyone who loves boating!

Lots of Room for Improvement
It does a good job of showing AIS tracks on the chart. However it fails to actually follow those AIS tracks when creating a route between two points. Instead it just follows the shortest route seemingly, which might not be the safest. Also, unfortunately it lacks the ability to create a manual route with more than15 waypoints and whe you do create a manual route and try to export it, the app exports the route not as a single route but as multiple routes.

Love idea
Updated to latest version with eta. Seems to display info correctly but runs super slow and taps on options don’t respond. I am sure they will get fixed. Looking forward to using it
Still needs improvement
Great idea but this still feels like a pre-release version. It doesn’t do simple things you expect. Like I set my home port, then when I went to create route, it doesn’t allow you to use the home port as a starting point (unless of course you go find it again, but then what is the point?) And this new update doesn’t show tracks, which I liked. It used to show tracks for the same route, and I do have the option enabled and allow boats of any length too. Disappointed.

Ditch is appropriately named…had to ditch the app!
Multiple attempts to get the app to do something, all to no avail. This app is just junk and don’t let them soak you for a subscription charge!
Yes it will load and I was able to sign in but that is all. It refuses to plot even the simplest waypoint, hitting the support gets a grey screen with no way out, had to delete and reload the app three times.
I’m not wasting any more time on a poorly designed app that will not function.

Few instructions, does not work well
I’ve been attempting to use this app properly and it just does not work well. Instructions are very poor, non existent. It is NOT intuitive as some say. I will not be keeping it past the free trial, too bad, it had promise.
Could not get to work.
I downloaded this app two different times and entered a username and password three times each and could not get the site to open up or get anything past the sign-up page. Not sure what’s up with this app, but they need to improve it on the front end, if they’re going to get enough followers.
Great job highlighting difficult to navigate areas
Enhances the MLLW data found on navigation charts to also include the paths most traveled by those most knowledgeable about the local waterways. The Mianus River in Greenwich, for example, practically becomes a beach at low tide and requires practical knowledge to safely navigate. This app does a great job of showing the narrow route to take.

Great Passage Planning Tool
Great app for planning tricky harbor arrivals, picks the best route based on local boater knowledge. A must have for any passage planning.
Getting better all the time!
I’ve been playing around with the beta versions for about a month or so now. Since my boat is out of the water, I’ve been “cruising” up and down the ICW using the Waterway Guide, checking Ditch Smartpath against Bob423 nav alerts. Amazing correlations. This will be a great tool to have on board next summer when I need some extra assurance.

Awesome Idea & App
Nothing like it out there. Pure genius to use AIS data for route planning. Makes inlet navigation planning much easier!
Brilliant - Surprised this is only available now
Great concept and very intuitive interface. This fills a void in traditional navigation products. In a data-driven society, this is the art of the possible and opens the door for operators to explore new waterways!
