Love the monthly dive events

Thank you! We felt the same as we were developing the app and are happy to hear you're having the same experience!
Accurate and Fun!
Response from developer
Thank you for the kind words! We put a lot of thought into these features and hoped exactly to bring the strong aspects of apps like AllTrails, E-Bird, and Surfline, which exist for other hobbies, to diving. We have more great ideas in the pipeline to make DiveSight even more useful and fun. Stay tuned!
Great exploration tool
Response from developer
Thank you for your review! We are constantly adding to our comprehensive database, so if you find that any dive sites are missing, please let us know. There are a variety of in-app ways to provide feedback and report missing dives, and our support email is always open as well.
Groundbreaking and exciting!
Response from developer
Thank you for this feedback! Combining so much data into a user-friendly format was an important goal for us, so hearing this review was very exciting.
Useful forecasts
Response from developer
Thank you, this means a lot. The forecasts are the hardest part of DiveSight and where most of the work goes: billions of satellite and ocean-model data points, run through models we validate against actual conditions. It's still a forecast, so it won't always be perfect, but hearing it held up at sites you know is exactly what we worked so hard for... and how we keep making it better.
Great concept
Response from developer
Thank you, this is wonderful to hear. That's exactly the spirit I hoped for, whether you're planning a dive or just exploring the ocean from the couch. Getting to know your own local sites better and discovering new areas and critters is a big part of why I built it. And if you ever want something new, the app makes it easy: you can flag a missing dive site from any site page or the map, suggest a species from any species list, or send general feedback from the dedicated page in Settings. I read every one.
Perfect
Response from developer
This is exactly what I hope to hear, thank you. Testing the forecast against what you actually see in the water is the real bar, and "realistic" is exactly what we're after. A lot of careful science goes into getting there, always balanced against how genuinely complex the ocean is. Means a lot that you put it to the test on a real dive... that's exactly how our forecasts keep getting sharper.
