Visibility not accurate

I feel like the weather and wave reports are accurate but the visibility is just made up. I was looking up some Pennekamp sites in the keys and it says that they are all “164+ plus”. I’ve never had better than 80’ viz there, let alone 164. Same thing for Looe Key. Would rather it just say “no viz report” if there isn’t an accurate estimate.

Response from developer

Thanks for reporting this! Our visibility scores were calibrated for ideal conditions rather than typical ones. Our next app update will ship with a fix that recalibrates this score downward and shows estimates as a range (e.g. "25–40ft") so the prediction reflects the genuine uncertainty. We truly appreciate you giving DiveSlate a try!
