Outstanding!
This game is an excellent rendering of historical fiction in a choose your own adventure style. The story lines are well written and echo Hemingway’s For Whom The Bell Tolls and Orwell’s Homage to Catalonia. In my first play through, only the fighter pilot survived.

Honestly so freaking impressed with this, ended up going through the whole thing in one run and those 3 hours felt like three minutes. Really hope to see more of these history-related things soon.
Love Being De La Rosa
I honestly love being the pilot and so far I think he will be my most favorite character,😊😊but I still like being the communist officer too.
A disappointment
I was really looking forward to this game when it was being developed, however for the game is written in third person and it is very difficult to merge yourself into the story, it makes it even harder to do that when there are several separate stories running parallel to each other and jumping from one to another gets confusing at times.

Bombed
There have been some real bombs lately by this company. I thought that the topic would mean an intelligent writer writing a fabulous story but instead I found this to be barely readable. There is no real choice and it skips back and forth between several characters in different places on different sides of the war. No identification is built with the characters as they skip back and forth and are on different sides. How are you supposed to invest in the story if you can't even choose sides? I have been soooo disappointed with choice of and hosted games lately. I own every single one but if the quality keeps dropping then I am going to just stop buying from you.

I believe this would of been a high quality and enjoyable cog book had the author given his reader a choice.
He knows history and his writing is good. The fatal error in my opinion is that he forces you to follow 4 story lines at once, which for me kills the immersion. Instead of making it a deep experience where you have 4 different life paths to choose from, giving you time to bond with and care about your role playing experience he makes you follow and participate in all 4 story lines. This is very sad as this ruins the book and is totally contrary to a choice game. So if u want to support being forced into story lines you have no interest in buy this book. To the author, I hope you write another book, you are a good writer, I just hope next time you keep the integrity of the role playing experience and allow a person to choose which professions or story lines they follow. Had you simply allowed us to choose which of the 4 stories we wanted to follow instead of shoving all 4 down our throat and not giving us a choice about it I would of rated u 5 stars.

Enter Divided We Fall, a historical game based on the Spanish revolution in the 30s and the various sides of the war where anarchists and communists and fascists fight for power, freedom, and ideals.
The narrative will take you through the lives of 4 main characters: a nurse, a pilot, a police officer, and a guerrilla fighter. Their lives will intersect on occasion and (since they are oftentimes on opposing sides) your choices might even cause them to kill each other.
The game features actual photographs taken during the time period and the prose is sharp and sometimes heart wrenching. I can't wait to play the game again as only one character survived during my play through and her fate wasn't a happy one.
I learned a lot about the time period through the included encyclopedia. No stats to increase in this game. Just hard choices. Love it!
