What's New in Dividend Calculator
1.1.0
August 5, 2026
What's New in This Version BIGGER FIXES - Quarterly and monthly dividends — Most US stocks pay quarterly, not annually. You can now choose your payout frequency (annual, semi-annual, quarterly, or monthly) and see how it changes compounding. Existing saved scenarios keep their original numbers. - Corrected annualized return — The app now calculates a true IRR that accounts for when each contribution was made. Previous versions significantly understated returns on monthly investment plans. - Reminders now work reliably — Fixed permission handling and time zone issues that could cause reminders to arrive at the wrong time or not at all. - Inflation in Target mode — Target calculations now show what your goal is actually worth in today's money. NEW - Light mode — The app now follows your system appearance, or you can pick Light or Dark manually in Settings. - Native iPad support — Full-screen layouts, wider charts, and a side-by-side Compare view that finally uses the space. - Remove Ads — A one-time purchase. Not a subscription. No account needed, and Restore Purchases works on any device signed in to your Apple ID. - Total return and annualized return are now shown alongside your final balance. - Fractional shares and decimal amounts are handled correctly throughout. IMPROVEMENTS - Charts now start at your actual principal instead of zero, and no longer show a false dip in the early years. - Dividend mode with reinvestment off now shows your principal and your accumulated dividends as separate lines. - Small amounts display accurately — $0.50 is no longer rounded to $1. - Clear error messages when inputs are too large to calculate, telling you which field to adjust. - Saved scenarios refresh correctly when switching tabs. - Better layout at the largest accessibility text sizes. Still free. Still works offline. Still no account.
