The Prayer of the Church
To be able to join the privileged ones, the priests and religious orders, in prayer is the greatest motivation. To converse with God from waking to sleeping one in prayer, is a gift. How great is The Church.
I have been praying the Divine Office for a number of years now, I have the hard copy, prefer to use it when at home, but the app is more convenient especially when travelling.

This app is wonderful, excellent
I have only recently begun to use this particular app. I use it for the Office of Readings in the mornings because my set of books is lost in boxes in the garage somewhere. It is very easy to navigate, set up very well, if I miss a day easy to go back a page to the correct day or if I want to reread it. It’s really very good. I also use Word on Fire’s Liturgy of the Hours (monthly), which is also excellent, but does not have the office of readings. Thank you so much.

I love this app! I am using it to assist me in learning how to pray the LOTH using the physical Christian Prayer book. I am in formation to become a Benedictine Oblate and one of my promises is to pray LOTH, morning & evening prayer, minimum.

An App that shoots itself in the foot
This app could be brilliant but shoots itself in the foot by employing incompetent readers. I would heartily recommend it but for this one glaring defect. Personally, after trying to pray with it I am left irked and annoyed - the readers, mainly the men, regularly mangle the English language by sheer ineptitude. They consistently stress the wrong word in the sentence, especially the prepositions (from, with, to, etc); they introduce sudden disruptive pauses in the flow of the language in the vain attempt at emphasis. They simply can’t read the English language as it deserves to be read, and need to be instructed in that art or replaced by those who are competent. Such an enormous pity!

I was buying a paperback version of Liturgy of the hours. This is more encompassing convenient and easier to deal with.
Daily Prayer made easy
This app is well setup and very easy to use. It is especially helpful to have the references to the page numbers in the Liturgy of the Hours and the Christian Prayer book. The music included with the prayers is an added bonus. Would love to see this Available for Apple CarPlay as it would allow easy access to prayer time when on the road.

Very important tool for prayer life
I must say that without a doubt, this is the most important App in the Apple App Store. It is an invaluable tool to help me keep my personal and Christian community, prayer on track. The staff at ‘The Divine Office App’ have created an online tool that provides me with the option of using my leather bound prayer book or this online App.

Liturgy of the Hours Go to app
This is a great app and is my go to for the Liturgy of the Hours. The only recommendation would be for the text to scroll as the Hours are read as it would make it easier to follow in a hands free situation.

I have only been using Divine Office for a short time but I love it. When at home I use it on my iPad and when in church I use my iPhone. I prefer the dark background as it seems to be more subtle in terms of light bothering others.
I like everything about the app. The wonderful people who have constructed Divine Office have thought of everything. Thank you.

Excellent App
This is an excellent user friendly app to pray the Liturgy of the Hours. I’ve had it for several years but never got around to writing a review.
One of my favorite features is where you can see where throughout the world people are in prayer.
Lately I’ve noticed much additional content, which is inspirational also.
