About
DivyaJivan is the patient app for hospitals and clinics that run on the DivyaJivan platform. Everything a visit produces — the appointment, the prescription, the lab report, the bill, the vaccination entry — lands here, for every person in your household, from every DivyaJivan hospital any of them has been to.
You need an account to use the app, and records appear only for hospitals that use DivyaJivan.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
ONE MEMBERSHIP FOR THE FAMILY
A household is a head of the family plus up to six more people. The household holds one membership number; every person on it holds their own card number, so a report, a bill or a vaccination is filed against a person and never against "the family". The head of the family chooses whether members can see one another's records or only their own.
BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
Choose the hospital, then the doctor, then an open slot from that doctor's own calendar. Book for yourself or for anyone in your household. If the clinic needs to move an appointment, the new time is proposed to you and you accept or decline it.
READ YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS
Every completed consultation appears as a full prescription — medicines, dosage and instructions — carrying the name and council registration of the doctor who wrote it. Save or share it as a PDF. Prescriptions can be shown in English, in Gujarati, or in both together.
FOLLOW YOUR TEST RESULTS
Lab results are grouped by body area — thyroid, heart and lipids, blood sugar, kidney and electrolytes, liver, blood counts — so a value can be read next to the ones that came before it. A result appears once a clinician has released it.
KEEP THE PAPER TOO
Photograph or upload an older report or prescription and file it against the right family member under one of nine types: pathology, radiology, cardiac, pulmonology, neurology, endoscopy, oncology, orthopaedic, other.
YOUR VISITS, BILLS AND HOSPITAL STAYS
Each consultation, each bill with what is payable and what is outstanding, each admission and each vaccination — labelled with the hospital that issued it.
MESSAGE THE DOCTOR WHO SAW YOU
You can write to a clinician you have actually consulted. It is not a live chat and nobody is sitting at the other end; a reply comes when the clinic is free.
REMINDERS
A follow-up date set at your visit becomes three reminders on your phone: three days before, the day before, and that morning.
CONSENT YOU CAN READ
Terms, privacy and health-data consent are three separate decisions, recorded separately against the version of the document that was on the screen. Marketing consent is separate, optional and never pre-ticked.
CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT FROM INSIDE THE APP
Settings › Close my account. You are shown exactly what is removed and what is kept before anything happens, and asked for your password. Closing your account removes your way of signing in. The medical records the hospitals created stay with those hospitals, for as long as medical-record retention rules require of them.
WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO
• It does not diagnose. Nothing in it interprets a result, checks one medicine against another, or tells anyone what to do next. It carries the record; your clinician reads it.
• You cannot pay in it. Payment is taken at the hospital counter and the receipt turns up here afterwards.
• There are no video consultations. A booking is an in-person slot.
• It is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number or go to a hospital.
PRIVACY
Your health information is handled as the sensitive information it is. Your sign-in session is kept in the device's encrypted store. A hospital can open your record because of an appointment, a referral or a consent you gave — not because it owns you. You can close your account at any time from Settings.
