Good ideas, atrocious quality
ImagineStarting out with the finest Oxford dictionary and then packaging it in an app developed by a teenager during the weekend.
This piece of garbage, which cost me good money, repeatedly interrupts my sessions to demand a new login. This is like buying a new car and have the manufacturer void your keys every two hours because keys that actually work are too difficult for them.

Avoid
I constantly have issues accessing this app. There is a glitch: I am notified the licence has expired although I bought an illimited licence. And then, it is very hard to log in. A pure waste of time and money.

i am a great admirer of Garzanti's physical dictionaries. but this app is very frustrating.
1. please check my license *once*, then not again until you think it may have expired. do *not* refuse to function if there is no internet available to use to check the license.
2. please do not use the internet while looking up, displaying a word. all content and searches should happen on my smart phone/tablet.
3. please display words that match, in their initial part, the letters i type as i type them.
the content is so good -- please embed it in an equally good, friendly, usable app.

Worst App Ever
I paid for the license, and it worked for a while and then told me I needed to buy a license. Apple Apps said I already had a license. Apple store in Italy couldn’t get it to work either, but the very nice Italian man there recommended Nuova Devoto-Oli. I tried it for free and then bought a license. Evidently, it is used by Italian school kids. Sono multo contento!

Non vi perdete tempo. Non funziona proprio. Non importa quanti abbonamenti compri. Non parte mai. Non ti riconosce. Peccato. Qualche anno fa funzionava benissimo

HA BISOGNO DI AGGIORNAMENTO
Sono un ammiratore confermato del dizionario contenuto in questo app e perciò, qualche anno fa, comprai un abbonamento a tempo illimitato. Purtroppo, il programma manca del necessario supporto tecnico per rendere giusto valore a una licenza indefinita. Da quando si mise in vendita nel 2014, l'app rimane senza alcun aggiornamento. È quindi ottimizzata per l'ormai vecchissma versione 4 di iOS, già sorpassata ben sei volte nel frattempo! Addesso il mio celluare si lamenta a voce alta dell'intelaiatura insufficiente dell'app, promettendo un rallentamento globale nella propria funzione se continuo ad usarla. Ma non posso fare a meno del miglior dizionario disponibile in questo formato, che ho comprato apposta e uso quotidianamente. GARZANTI, PER FAVORE AGGIORNATE LA VOSTRA APP PERCHÉ FUNZIONI CON GLI IPHONE DI 2017!

Scadenza imprevista
Adoro questo dizionario e siccome faccio la traduttrice lo utilizzo tutti giorni. Tuttavia, con l'acquisto di ogni nuovo telefono mi salta fuori la richiesta di rinnovo a pagamento nonostante la loro affermazione che sia per sempre. Non una, ma due volte in più ho pagato per il dizionario poiché mi sia tanto utile. Vorrei continuare a usare questa app ma la inconsistenza la rende difficile. Per favore, risolvete il problema.

Dizionario non funziona
Ho comprato il dizionario con un abbonamento senza scadenza. Quasi ogni volta quando aprivo il dizionario c’era un messaggio che dice che il mio abbonamento è scaduto. Qualche volta riuscivo a rifare la registrazione e aprirlo, qualche volta no. Ho cancellato l’acquisto dopo una settimana.
