DJ Buddy: Fade & Echo

DJ Buddy turns music you choose from Files or the Music app into a simple two-deck practice surface. Load files or a folder as one group, choose the first song and the song that is Up Next, then practice smooth handoffs without a DJ controller. START FREE Free controls include music loading, first-song and next-song selection, playback, Fade Out, and Echo Out. BPM appears while songs load and remains visible on both decks. FILES, FOLDERS, AND MUSIC APP Load audio files, treat one folder as a group, or browse playable songs and playlists from the Music app. MP3s you uploaded or synced through Apple can be used when Apple provides a playable, DRM-free asset. Change the upcoming folder or group while the current song keeps playing. FADE OR ECHO IN ONE TAP Fade Out lowers the playing song smoothly over three seconds. Echo Out creates a pronounced, beat-locked trail. PRO TRANSITIONS Advance echoes the current track from the exact moment you tap and brings in the selected next song. Auto can target chorus 1, 2, or 3. For reliable detections, it follows the surrounding beat grid and starts Echo Out on the final downbeat. When the grid is less certain, DJ Buddy keeps its safe four-beat estimate or tells you to use Advance. SAVE YOUR CUES With Pro, set a Start and End point for each song. DJ Buddy remembers those points when you use the track again. Turn your phone sideways for a larger editing waveform. AUTO WITH A CLEAR FALLBACK Songs vary, so chorus detection cannot always be reliable. When Auto cannot be used, DJ Buddy displays a large AUTO UNAVAILABLE — USE ADVANCE warning instead of guessing. SEPARATE PLAYLIST PLAYER Pro includes an independent Playlist Player on its own screen. Choose a music group without changing the two-deck transition queue, use Continuous or Random playback, drag songs to reorder them, and see what is currently playing.
