Doesn’t work with Numark DJ2Go2

I paid for this purely to use with the Numark DJ2Go2 controller, which is supposed to work with the software. It doesn’t.

Doesn’t work with Bluetooth

The app itself works good but will not work running Bluetooth the sound still comes from the iPad instead of the Bluetooth speaker major disappointment since I need it to work via Bluetooth for the application I’m using it for

I want my money back

They stole me again (PCDJ FX).
iOS 11.4 + iPad Pro 9” + 22.000 songs = the app never started.

Audio splitter failed

So I have a iPad 6 generation to lighting to camera usb to powered usb hub with a scarlet 2i2 and a Ddj-sb3 when audio spitter is turned on sound cuts to main speaker and headphones other wise VERRY NICE APP SUPPORTS THE CONTROLLERS YOU LOVE! I will give it 5 * when audio splitter doesn’t crash the sound thank you for this BOMB APP!

Very good app

Long time user of PC DEX which is a great program, was glad to get this iPad app. I really like this app, easy to use. One problem that I have with it is that it doesn’t store cue points. That is a big issue with me since I use cue points in live services. In order for me to use this app, I have to set up all cue points all over again for each session. I will continue using the app hoping an update will fix this. I gave it 5 stars because I love the other functionality and ease of use. One other problem, when I search for a song, it finds the same song multiple times in the search results, even though the song is only stored in one location in iTunes.

FAQ

What is DJ DEX?

DJ DEX is a professional DJ mixing application designed for the iPad. It transforms your device into a full-featured DJ software console, offering capabilities comparable to top-tier professional DJ applications. You can use it for manual mixing, automated sets, and even connect supported DJ controllers for enhanced control.

What are the key features of DJ DEX?

Key features include two DJ decks, a mixer, BPM sync, pitch/tempo control, interactive waveforms for scratching and pitch bending, seamless looping, hot cues, high-quality effects, library browsing, and the ability to record your mixes. It also supports mono split output for headphone monitoring.

Does DJ DEX support DJ controllers?

Yes, DJ DEX supports over 100 DJ controllers from various manufacturers like Pioneer, Numark, and Denon. You'll need an iPad Camera Kit connector or a Lightning to USB adapter to connect your controller. Ensure your controller consumes minimal power or has its own power adapter.

How can I monitor my mix with DJ DEX?

DJ DEX supports mono split output, allowing you to monitor each deck in your headphones independently, similar to a traditional DJ setup. If you don't have a multi-channel audio interface or controller, you can use an inexpensive splitter to send the master output to speakers and the headphone output to your headphones.

Is DJ DEX suitable for live performances?

Yes, DJ DEX is designed for both casual mixing and professional DJing at events. It offers features like BPM sync, controller support, and reliable performance, making it a viable option for live sets. It's recommended to enable 'Flight Mode' for optimal performance during live mixes.
