Confusing design
My Initial impressions of the app are not good. The camera would only take video and the app put my camera into a strange mode.
Focus and zoom on my camera didn’t seem to be supported in the app.
I am thinking of returning this gimbal- the DJI R3 Mini.
But…I will give the instructions another read-through and try it again.

best app for dji ronin series
The app is terrible
No matter what I do, I cannot for the life of me get video transmission to connect
Very helpful
Is the most convenient app for the one have the DJI Ronin definitely recommended

So many features lacking
“Track” mode (setting gimbal waypoints or “key frames”) is lacking features. You can’t even set presets for multiple movement patterns, and you’re limited to only 10 waypoints. Seriously lame. Imagine having a library of camera movements you can perform with a tap. Such an easy thing to add.

App registration and account required to use the gimble that was purchased. Besides being invasive, the app isn’t accepting the password I have. On top of that, trying to log in or crate an account causes the keyboard to completely cover up the fields, making the whole thing a chore.
Asks for reviews all the time.
When an app doesn’t help but gets in the way by asking for a review 3 times in 3 minutes it’s gets one star.

Wow!! Auto Calibration made it shake so bad it unwound from the tripod!! Wtf!! Good thing it was on the floor!!!

I love using the app but using the iPad app with limited Functionality on Mac Is kind of a bummer when I know DJI can Make a Amazing Mac App, so DJI Please make a Ronin App for Mac, Thank you! -Lorenzo
Einfach nur schlecht…
Ich habe noch nie in meinem ganzen Leben ein schlechteres Registrierungserlebnis gehabt als in dieser App. Abgesehen davon, dass man nach gefühlt 500 Dingen gefragt wird, die man aktivieren muss, läuft die Registrierung überhaupt nicht rund. Trotz Erfüllung aller Bedingungen treten wiederholt Fehlermeldungen auf. Und hat man es dann endlich geschafft, sich tatsächlich zu registrieren, wird man direkt nach einem Abo-Modell gefragt.
Dann kauft man sich schon so ein teures Gerät und ist mehr oder weniger dazu verpflichtet, die App zu nutzen – und all ihre Strapazen zu erleben. Schrecklich. Vor allem, weil man daran nichts ändern kann…

I use first time just without 5 minutes completely
Doesn’t connect to my gimble
The stupid app doesn’t connect to my gimble and it’s ridiculous that we have to have this to use the product. What a garbage inclusion I am irate
Fixed my issue
I don't usually write reviews but I was having an error with my joystick and was worried I'd have to replace my gimbal or get it repaired but it immediately detected my issue and fixed it
