Doesn’t work properly
I tried other Dns changers too but all of them are trash including this which has a better UI. These DNS changes simply can't change your desired DNS faster than doing manually in the iOS setting
Great app but a few issues
This is a great, easy to use app, but there are a few things that would make it better.
1. I already use SurfShark VPN (which is a great product as well), but I still get the add that pops up when using Trust DNS that advertises SurfShark. There needs a way to not give current SurfShark users advertisements.
2. The only SurfShark DNS servers do not offer DNSSec, or ad blocking.
Other than that it’s a great app that I’d recommend anytime you aren’t using a VON like SurfShark.

Why do I need to activate a VPN???
iOS 14 specifically has configurable DNS. You don’t have to connect a VPN; you can alter the default DNS directly. Other apps like PrivateDNS let you do this by manually entering a custom DNS. It’s always enabled, whether I’m on WiFi or Cellular.
But with this app, I need to be connected to the VPN for the DNS to work. Which means if the VPN gets disconnected or if I already have a VPN provider, the custom DNS won’t work if I’m disconnected from SurfShark.
I’m disappointed. iOS and iPadOS already have a custom DNS feature. Why not use that with your app?

Downloaded it because I got SurfShark and I get getting pop ups to purchase SurfShark even though I’m currently using it and paying for it. This app simply stalled my internet. Couldn’t even connect to the AppStore with it on to leave this review. It blocked me from using the internet. Love the concept just it didn’t work on my iPad Pro.

Hello, we are really sorry but we can’t do that because we are not VPN, we protect your DNS request traffic from your internet provider and man-in-the-middle attack, and app is working your DNS address is changed after you connected, you can test this in any DNS leak websites, if you want access WEB function, you need upgrade to Surfshark VPN app.
