Bummed out
The app constantly nagged me to write a review so here it is. The app is great at begging for money. Each feature costs money. Why can’t I give you $49.95 to just use the software? I’m sick to death of subscription and constantly being reminding to pay. On top of all this, I’ve spent 5 dollars so far and nothing is working. About 45 minutes in trying to validate whether my config is off or if the app is just broken. Just super disappointed.

I’ve paid for and utilized this service for years. However, I’ve only just gotten around to examining their Privacy Policies. Something that many neglect. Yes, there is data collected. No, any form of data collected (usage and so on) poses a minor security risk.
DNSecure is right below this when I search “DNS Override”. It tracks no data and I think that it’s free.
Override does as it says, I’ve analyzed the traffic and it is routed properly. But, when it comes down to data-collected and Privacy Policy, I think that I will be switching to the latter.

This app is spectacular. Necessary app for newbies who aren’t savvy.

Crashes on override
Doesn’t work with NextDNS, just crashes on override. Misleading since it’s doesn’t override cellular.
Wasted time and money
Subscribed to purchases to get dynamic dns on iPhone working with dyn.org. 2 hrs passed and can’t make the application setup with the dynamic dns provider account to register my dynamic dns. Will try to refund. Very disappointed

Приложение может и работает отлично, но делать загрузку интерфейса бесплатно, а все функции платными - чистый обман пользователей. Такой подход очень разочаровывает и подталкивает удалить прогу, а не купить функционал. Хоть бы демо сделали какое-нибудь.

This app allows taking over DNS configuration once it is selected in iOS DNS settings.
The advantage of this app is that once selected, there is no need to go back to the iOS DNS settings to deselect it in order to revert to the local provider's DNS. (e.g. when doing online banking).
There are two in-app purchases:
DNS Override: This is required
Auto IP Update: Not needed unless you have an account with a DNS provider for auto IP update.
So far, none of the built-in pre-configured DNS servers give consistent results across multiple block test queries. However, they can protect against other things as described under each of them.
You can add other profiles as AdGuard and Control D to reach best ads blocking results.
Conclusion: The apps is doing a good job. However, it’s not possible to reach out to the developer. I hope it is still in active development as do far it’s my favorite and I highly recommend it.

Works but need extra configuration
Works good but needs to provide separation between wifi and cellular.
For some home users may prefer to use home /local DNS and use other DNS when on cellular.

Don’t list it as free if you paywall the features inside the app. Just ask for money in the appstore, don’t bait and switch. Dead to me.

Не работает. Теле 2 . Калининград. При включении серверов Китая перестает работать весь интернет на телефоне. Про раздачу через вайфай говорить нет смысла то же
