allow us to selected from a variety of different companies or places

Does not work
I tried the free version just to test it and chose the default in the app, which is Google DNS (DoH). After turning it on in Settings->General->VPN and toggling it on the app, my phone still uses Cloudflare (configured on my router) and not Google DNS. Even the app shows Cloudflare in the status tab while it shows Google DNS in the config tab.

Where the update?
Am I missing something??!
I am on the latest version of iPadOS, and the instructions the developer gives do not make any sense. First of all, there is no setting under General called "VPN and Network." Following the exact instructions does not allow me to enable this app. I tried several times. All of the other VPN or DNS apps I have tried pretty much allow you to automatically add a configuration. This one does not.

Works well
Been happy with the app so far. Wish it had a pin to lock down settings.
Buggy
I simply want to change my DNS faster than doing it manually every time and this app did the job but next time I used it, it bugged out and didn't change the DNS that I've set manually before. Eventually I have to change it manually
Great app - would be nice to be able to use regular (non TLS or HTTPS) DNS over port 53
As the (long) title states. This app is great. You need to buy the in-app purchase but the price is fair. This app works and respects your privacy (and is open source) - all great stuff. But I'd like to also be able to override my DNS settings with a regular (port 53) DNS server. That would make it the best (and most useable) app of its type. In any case, it's still a great app!

Thanks for reply. Well, this app only works with standard DOH/DOT.
The best for Custom DNS
This is the best option in the App Store for setting a custom DNS. It doesn’t install a VPN profile, but a DNS profile which seems like the right way to do it. It also supports DOH and DOT. The ability to quickly toggle the connection is also a big plus compared to installing a profile directly.
My one piece of feedback would be to add a way to disable the connection for a given amount of time. There are times when something doesn’t work quite right so I want to toggle my DNS connection off to see if that’s the issue, but then I forget to activate it again. So, it would be good to be able to set a timer to reactivate or at least get a reminder notification.

This app finally let me use DoH with my NextDNS configuration, where other apps as well as the iOS settings could not. Great work!
