Finally one app for home services
I’ve used Dobby for a couple of jobs in my home. Each time I’ve been really happy with the work done and it’s saved me a lot of time. I wish there was something like this sooner.
Whoa…this app is amazing
I bought my first home a few years ago, and couldn’t believe how hard it was to take care of all the things for my house. I just don’t have the time to figure it out either!
I heard about Dobby from my neighbor and I’m so glad I tried it. Everyone who I’ve worked with has been awesome and it’s so easy to use. Highly recommend!!!

Efficient and easy, yet somehow feels personalized
I am the type of person who likes to shop around for quotes but also hate making phone calls. Dobby makes it so easy to get quotes with just a few clicks, and scheduling and communication is a breeze. Every contractor they’ve sent has been great in terms of getting the job done at a reasonable cost. Also, I recently learned that Alex is a real person — she’s so quick and responsive that I was sure she was AI!

I love dobby. I have used them for at least 6 jobs this past year and plan to use them for more next year. The handymen, air conditioning people, and others are always timely, responsive. Love the marketplace aspect of it.

Game Changer!
Dobby is absolutely fantastic! They’ve made the home renovations / services experience so much easier than what I’ve had in the past, and the professionalism is top notch. Highly recommending them to all my friends, family and colleagues!
Don’t be fooled! Dishonest and corrupt
They rely on the mis-classification of contractors and avoid labor laws by doing so. Very misleading and dishonest just like Task Rabbit, Thumbtack , DoorDash, Turo, Lyft etc. they exploit and mislead the 1099 contractors that work for them. When I asked about the TOS they promptly deleted my account. Do not get in bed with these scammers! They treat contractors like employees and pay them like independents

I’ve had all types of work done - flooring, kitchen renovation, appliance repair, installations…and each time, the providers are helpful, communicative, and timely!

Great home maintenance app
Dobby is more than a home maintenance app, it’s a community of experts that can help you with almost anything you need for your house.
I’ve been using Dobby for over a year now and I’ve been impressed. I’ve been impressed with those that operate the app who are responsive to homeowner concerns and questions, and I’m impressed at the quality of the people they have in their system. To date I haven’t had any issues with any of the things we’ve needed done on our house. The prices that the contractors charge are pretty fair and dobby doesn’t slap you with a crazy high % for using their services. Additionally, the admins at dobby will be honest and if there’s nobody in their system designed to handle the project you want, they’ll let you know. That doesn’t happen often, but they won’t just send some guy to do work they aren’t trained or knowledgeable in.
The app is easy to use and they continue to update it with new services and abilities. The only thing that I would like to see integrated would be the ability for multiple contractors to provide estimates on your project, if it’s a big project. That way we don’t need to ask for multiple quotes, it’s something we could select in the project submitting process.
I highly recommend this app to any homeowner that has trouble doing housework themselves.

We’ve used Dobby for many jobs around our house and I’ve found it so easy to use. It is never easy to find a handy man, especially one willing to do smaller jobs that I need help with. I trust that Dobby has vetted their pros. They are also very quick to respond. I think it’s a great concept and wish them a lot of success!

Extremely Convenient for Home Repairs
I’ve used this app for everything for emergency plumbing repairs to finding a handyman to hang shelves. It’s a very convenient way to find trusted local workmen.
