What's New in DocCite

1.1.1

August 12, 2026

DocCite 1.1.1 improves reliability, speed, and privacy controls across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. • Large document imports spend less time blocking other Library changes and recover more safely from interruptions. • Share imports and Mac drag and drop now enforce tighter time, queue, and storage limits. • Scanned PDF OCR can resume from verified local checkpoints after an interruption. • Apple Watch captures stay pending until the paired iPhone confirms that the exact note or question was saved. • Encrypted Offline Transfer bundles are processed in authenticated sections, which lowers peak memory use. Earlier encrypted bundles remain supported for import. • Settings now includes a direct Privacy Policy link, and camera, photo, and Face ID permission explanations are localized. • Additional fixes improve DOCX viewing, protected storage, and general responsiveness. Document import, OCR, search, and cited answer support continue to run locally, with no account or developer-operated cloud processing. You decide when to share, copy, print, or export content.
