Great App

Does almost everything I want! Good privacy profile as well; western dev with a track record at this point. Lots of similar apps that originate in China, occasionally going to great lengths to mask that fact. These are all potential security issues; apps like these hand sensitive SSH credentials over. Must trust the vendor. I do kind of wish this had a SSH terminal built in but who am I kidding, I’d just ask Codex to fix whatever is going on anyway.

It Works

I just didn’t find any use for it. If you’re running self hosted docker containers just self host one that does everything this does because there are plenty of options out there.

Hello, thank you for your review. Of course, there are other self-hosted tools available that also enable monitoring or controlling Docker. However, they often lack native macOS integration, which is why I developed WhaleDeck. None of these self-hosted tools offer the same native macOS look, desktop widgets, Shortcuts support to automate tasks from your Mac, or Siri integration. This native and convenient integration will get even better with the Siri AI release in autumn, which WhaleDeck will fully support. Best regards, Florian

Hat gut geklappt

Es hat alles wunderbar funktioniert, bis ich Docker auf ein anderes Speichermedium installiert. Seitdem funktioniert WhaleDeck nicht mehr und sagt, dass Docker nicht aktiv ist. Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob das Sinn macht aber na gut, so ist es. Für 30€ Premium gekauft..

Great tool, works on all your Apple devices

This app is constantly receiving love from its developer. There are regular updates on Mac, iPad, and iOS. Great way to monitor your servers especially on the go.

Absolute Garbage — Literal Ransomware Tactics

I installed this app and was immediately met with a subscription wall that has NO way to close it. You cannot even see the interface without being forced into a "free trial." This is a disgusting way to treat potential customers. It’s basically digital extortion. Deleting it immediately. Shame on the developers!

Very intuitive app

It’s pretty easy to see my server statuses and container statuses. It does what it’s supposed to pretty well. Mac app is nice as well, though it has some UI problems.

There are bunch of stuff that can be improved, and the developer keeps updating it very frequently. That’s why I wanted to support and bought the lifetime pro version.

Super App und netter Entwickler

Ich habe die App vor kurzem angefangen zu nutzen und kurz darauf kam eine super überarbeitete Version der App raus, die den Bedienkomfort nochmals verbesserte.

Ich stand während der Phase auch in direktem Mailkontakt mit dem Entwickler und wir konnten uns super austauschen! Ideen wurden aufgenommen und Fehler kurzfristig behoben.

All in one, just perfect

If you want to monitor your docker, this is the app you should go to, they think all the small details. It is very easy to use, connection is very good(which i use twingate for connection) but for me the BEST part is the widget. Thanks to developers, they are using widget very very good. I love widget and when i need to check sth, i can easily see what i need to see. Also this app is very cheap for an app with these functions. Finally, the developer answered my questions very quickly and attentively. Thx again for this beautiful app.

Relatively useless in free version on Mac

Free version doesn’t let you connect to a Mac server, so you can’t test it out with a local Docker install. Why have an app in the macOS App Store whose free/demo version only works if you have a Linux Docker server to talk to? Most of us, I think, would want to try this out in a local environment before deciding whether to buy.
