Way too many notifications
I was under the impression that this system was designed to improve the shape-up and check-in process, not create more confusion, frustration, and unnecessary distractions for the membership.
We are constantly receiving repetitive, outdated, and irrelevant notifications about work orders that either no longer exist or are not available. What exactly is the purpose of sending notifications when there is no active work order?
If this system is still in its beta or testing stages, then it has no business operating as a live program until these problems are corrected. Our members are working people, and their time should be respected.
What is even more concerning is that these constant false notifications could eventually cause members to ignore the system altogether. Then, when a legitimate work opportunity becomes available, someone could miss an actual job because they have become accustomed to receiving meaningless alerts.
This is not improving the shape-up process. It is creating unnecessary confusion and undermining confidence in the system.
There needs to be accountability and a clear explanation as to why notifications are being generated for work orders that are not live or do not exist.
If there is no active work order, there should be NO notification. PERIOD.
Fix the system before expecting the membership to rely on it. Technology is supposed to make the process more efficient, not create additional problems for the people who depend on the shape-up to earn a living.
