This is of no use to repair it

It didn't work for me, the ghost image is still there. My iPhone is getting worse every day.

Nur für Techniker mit zusätzlichem Werkzeug evtl. nützlich

Die App gibt keine Führung oder Anleitung wie vorzugehen ist, obwohl sie vorgibt sich an Endanwender zu richten. Es fehlt an nützlichen Tests. Die Videos geben nicht an in welcher Qualität diese sind.
Der Test, welcher zeigen soll, ob es sich um ein OLED handelt, hat leider die Statusleiste eingeblendet, wodurch die Auswertung unnötig verkompliziert wird, den diese Leuchtet in voller helle.

Misleading name. Does not fix screen burn-in.

It’s partly my fault for not reading to the end of the app description, but I thought this app would help fix my screen burn-in. It only diagnoses it, which I didn’t need because I already know I have this problem. I downloaded this app because it was recommended in a Digital Trends article, and both the article and the use of “doctor” in the app name implied to me that it would fix or attempt to fix screen burn-in. The fact that it doesn’t is hidden in the app description past where you have to click “more” to see it. I’m annoyed I paid for an app I don’t need. I would recommend to the app developers to make the exact purpose of the app clear at the top of the app description.

Ok thanks for your feedback, we will do something with it, you know that a doctor helps diagnose illnesses but rather sometimes can help cure the problem, right? In the east people go to a doctor before they get ill, just to stay fit. Feel free to issue a refund, just google how it works :). I’m interested in a photo of the burn in! This is for screen testing not getting rid of burn in. Don’t waste your money.

Didn't work.

So I buy this app and it has a test to check if my screen is Oled, and it's not. So I paid for the app for no reason. Rip off.

I removed them after it blocked one reviewer’s iPhone, I will remaster them and add them back, maybe it was a bug in an older iOS version. Watch for the new update in the coming days. Please review again :) thx for the feedback

Didn't help with keyboard burn

The app didn't show my keyboard screen burn in any of its tests, nor did it fix it. But free RGB cycling videos did.

Everything was fine except for getting stuck in an advert on the first launch and having to force-close the app and start again.

Does what it claims. (Dev: bug inside)

This app is a good screen tester. Don’t expect it to balance your checkbook - its a screen tester. It does that fine.

Developer: the button for “OLED & App Info” leads to a text display that’s both editable and a user trap. You can’t back out of it, apparently. Requires a force quit if you click anywhere and enter edit mode as the Exit button disappears in edit mode.

Indeed, good that you reported this bug, much appreciated, I will fix it in the next release.

(Its Great now) Cools Feature but need longer runs to help clear burn in

Has the tests to show burn ins and other OLED screen defects. Wish it had the function to run continuously to help remedy screen burn in, rather than short 15-30s runs that need to be manually repeated

TOTALLY FROZE MY PHONE

This app doesn’t do much help. It doesn’t help fix or lessen the effects of anything. Just lets you check. Which isn’t helpful. And worse than that, I have a brand new iPhone XS and this app froze it so bad it needed a force restart. I accidentally tapped that “Dolby showcase” junk and my phone completely froze. Wouldn’t play the video, couldn’t close the app, use assistive touch, or even change volume or lock the phone. Do not even touch this app, there’s plenty of other apps that help diagnose and do basic things to help reduce effects of burn in and DON’T have unnecessary “features” that risk breaking your phone.

Hi _WolfSpirit, thanks for reporting your issue. I’m sorry that my app froze your iPhone. Unfortunately I cannot test on all physical iPhone models. I have removed the showcase videos in the new version 1.6. I’m sure the app is useful especially for users that are not fortunate enough to buy a new OLED iPhone and that want to check the condition of the display. May I restate that the app does all that is described in the app store, this has been challenged by the app approval team.
