Can not progress
Update as of 17 Jan 2026 - I’ve now reached a point where I can not progress in the game as it persists in freezing EVERY time I try to choose the only option which is as mentioned earlier the “Face of Boe” selection. I’ve tried everything I can but no luck - has turned out to be a complete waste of time. I emailed support some time ago but no response as yet. Not a good advert for Apple Arcade.

Enjoyable While it Lasted
I really wanted to love this game, and for a while I did. I put about 12 hours into it and made it all the way to level 370, which says a lot about how engaging it can be at its best. The puzzles are fun, progression feels rewarding, and it does a nice job capturing the Doctor Who vibe.
Unfortunately, technical issues seriously drag the experience down. At one point, a glitch forced me to replay roughly two hours of content, which was frustrating but manageable. After pushing through and catching back up, the game started freezing on the loading screen for a level. I tried restarting my iPad and even reinstalling the game, but nothing worked.
Given that there doesn’t seem to be any fix or ongoing support, it feels like the game has been abandoned. It’s a shame, because there’s a solid game here underneath the problems. Play at your own risk; just be prepared that your progress might come to a sudden, unavoidable halt.

Cannot continue game
As I got to a certain point in the game I was pressing the button to play the game but it always got stuck.

This game used to be great. Relaxing, creative, and genuinely enjoyable especially the no timer option. Unfortunately, once you reach 400+ levels, Doctor Who: Hidden Mysteries breaks completely, freezing around 25–30% on the loading screen (often during trivia) and never progressing.
This issue has been widely reported and has gone unfixed into 2025. Restarting the app doesn’t help. Reinstalling doesn’t help. Support doesn’t help; responses are clearly copy and paste, offering no real updates or timeline.
Leaving a known, game-breaking flaw in a title featured on Apple Arcade is unacceptable. If this game is no longer supported, players deserve honesty. If it is supported, then it’s long past time to fix it. It’s been 2 years!

Beautifully Done Relaxing Game
The music and graphics are really well done and i had no difficulty with glitches in game play. Seems like a solid game. I think this is geared to children. I really hope this company made a similar game for adults that is more challenging. I’m off to go Look up what Tilting Point LLC has released for adults. I recommend giving this a try.

Played well until it didn’t
I love Doctor Who & hidden object games, so this game was a no brainer for me. Unfortunately, as I got further into the game, it started to glitch. But, only on one activity: the one where you select the right answer from a choice of four. Every time i have to play that activity the games gets stuck on loading. I got past it once, but now I can’t proceed any further. I can play the side games, but that’s it. Can you fix the bug so I can continue playing? Otherwise, I’ll have to delete the app.

Was enjoying it until
I was playing this for a while and it was enjoyable. It is a bit slow and some parts are more challenging than others. I preferred playing without a timer. There are several side missions from the main games so a lot of variance. But eventually, the main game locked up at a loading screen. I see a lot of other reviews with the same issue. So I can’t go any further. There are still side missions to play but it discouraged me from playing.

Episode 9 crash issue
I enjoy playing this game, but unfortunately I can’t advance any further when I reach The Face of Boe trivia. At the loading screen it stalls I close and go back in then it crashes. Please fix thank you.
Glitchy
I started the game and love it! Then when I got to satellite 5 stage it started glitching and I can’t progress further! I then had to start a new game over from the beginning and glitched on the satellite 5 stage again and I’m a little bit further in the game on that level I can’t seem to progress anymore! Please fix so I don’t have to start over again! (And I have tried deleting and redownload the game but that doesn’t seem to work either)!

Same ol’ scenes
This game is very annoying. It returns to the same scenes repeatedly. Then, after every hidden object scene, the Dr. Who says “Congratulations” and the game has to load. The action scenes are very brief. Gave up out of boredom.
Doesn’t load
The game refuses to load so is unplayable. Shame really because I was really starting to enjoy the game but can no longer play it as it glitches every time I try.
Episode 8 crash
Got all the way to episode 8 and then I try to play the face of boe trivia and the game just freezes and eventually crashes. Quite annoying because i was enjoying it up until that point and I can’t even play it anymore
Games stops working
I love this game wish it worked. The trivia mini games stopped loading. The level I am on has no other alternative. I am now forced to stop playing. Reached out to the developer and this game appears to be no longer supported. Very skeptical about all the games this developer puts out. How long before they will br unsupported?
